infobox rework
hey, sheriff. as you may have seen, i reworked some infoboxes (not all of them because some will be replaced) so they can match the monobook style, you can see all of them here. "what's wrong with the current infoboxes?" - you may ask - there's more than a couple things that makes them bad:
- they don't fit monobook's style - no borders, bad coloration, and overall too simple. since you can't change the skin while logged out, the average 'teen browsing the 'ki sticks to the default skin: monobook. the current infoboxes fit timeless/cosmos/whatever else more rather than monobook;
- takes too much space - check out Geraldo Alckmin and Javier Milei, for example. a parameter takes 2 lines and the images are always too big, making the infobox feel bigger compared with the article itself and creating a gap between the text and the footer;
- made on visual editor - we don't need an awful, effortless miraheze resource here. angeleno refused to add this before for a reason.
my infoboxes aren't that great of course, they have their own flaws, but they're not bad either! here's some good things about them:
- my infobox site has the website's favicon at the top header, so you don't need to use <gallery> for multiple images. they also provide extra info like the CMS (website's source code) and the web host (e.g. cloudflare);
- i made a single infobox for both officeholders and normal people, instead of having two separate ones ({{Infobox officeholder}}, {{infobox person}});
- {{infobox organization}} can be stylized to fit CIA and FBI;
- my infobox on countries has extra info aswell: they got new parameters like UTC, area, coat of arms, motto, anthem, country (if the subject is a province/city), you call it;
- i made {{infobox raid}} because including all doxed people just make a infobox wall on your screen's right side. they can be used for 'causts and purges as well;
- {{infobox media}} can be used for songs, books, series and movies all at once.
now here's the bad things about it:
- certain parameters don't have the same names;
- i couldn't add a gallery for {{infobox person test}} and {{infobox variant}}, so your page for example will have to exclude the avatar;
- {{infobox war test}} is thinner and i didn't tested {{collapse top}} on it, but that can be changed if someone helps;
- you gonna have to give me temporary perms to replace the templates' contents.

- all of your complaints are stuff that can be fixed by easily editing the infobox css in monobook.css (or in commons.css) while introducing big flaws like not supporting galleries, also parameters and headers being stacked is on purpose so that long text doesn't wrap on mobile, but it can be easily reverted by removing layout="stacked" from the infobox text, your rewrite isn't even a rewrite but more like a revert cause our old infoboxes used the module like your's but i got rid of it cause of its flaws, meanwhile your "pros" are just stuff we can easily implement to our current infoboxes like an extra parameter or a new infobox, finally, you can't make infoboxes on the fly using Special:InfoboxBuilder anymore if fenriris agrees to your rewrite Cobblestone (talk) 09:54, 26 July 2026 (UTC)

new page quality header idea
hello, I've made a mockup template for a new page quality header at User:Neptune/Sandbox. The "fossil" category would be for pages that, while objectively low-quality, have been on the wiki for years and are essentially a historical relic (created 2023 or earlier. - IPInfo does indeed show it as one of those privacy ip's. However, even his user agent matches exactly with one previously used by one of Suzentov's alternate accounts, which makes it much less likely to be a coincidence. idgi, we’re setting templates back ~2 years. ViewerDiscretion got reverted back to a version made only a bit after I had made the images transparent (which is common place now! do you see how crazy it is that back then, a lot of templates had images attached that weren’t transparent, and thus caused a lot of templates to look even worse than they did. i had to go through and fix a lot of these back then!) a lot of people weren’t there for this period of the wiki. it was ugly, and i don’t get why we’re going back to tables when soybox made creating templates simpler. soybox css can be imported over to tables, so looks can be restored, but is there a reason for this? does soybox make things slow, or does it take up too much space? what’s the reason? What about reviving {{Rejected}}? It's very useful and the template makes the rejection look much more "official" compared to a regular message. The only people against this template were north, marketpliers and gauntletthrown, all of which are inactive now.
Also, the problem that the north was complaining about, was that when you clicked on the "edit source" button on a talk page, it would show the template code. I've fixed it on User:Gzard/Rejected Gzard (talk) 14:21, 3 August 2026 (UTC)

I know it sounds a bit weird but i was trying to see if i could make a bot that automatically adds the Inactive template to a Userpage that hasn't edited anything in a while e.g The user stopped editing in 2025 then if the userpage didn't have the template then the Bot would automatically add the Template. This is the Userpage for the Bot, when i was trying to test i got a 403 error code with Cloudflare but it's because supposedly that the Bot lacks permissions to do anything. Hello. I am a very recent contributor to this site, but I'd like to show that I am fit for the administrator role. My main reason for becoming an administrator is that I believe soyjak culture needs to be preserved in its most informative form. I know this is a matter of emergency which is why I step up to the occasion.
First of all, I want the site to remain impartial and unbiased. I know that's something everyone says and it's just bullshit, but I truly value it. I believe we ought to avoid conflict and keep the focus on the articles. I also believe in article consolidation, where unnecessary articles are removed or compiled into a single resource that's easily organized.
I believe in the value of teaching how to create gems with guides. Many nusois are told to make nuvariants and 'toss but do not know how. To provide them with guides will be the greatest ROI that the 'ki ever makes. It motivates more people to join the soysphere and truly integrate, possibly meaning more 'ki members and gemmy contributions.
It's very unlikely I will get picked, as I do not have a reputation in the community yet. Honestly I'm doubting if I should be an administrator, I think it's a big responsibility. I also don't want to be involved in useless drama and dragged into some sort of bullshit. I care about doing my job. And to be honest, I have priorities right now. Honestly, the party has been pretty fun. But I always wanted to eventually move on from it even a couple months back. I just never could find the right time. But might as well do that now. I left because I realized just how addicated I am to the 'net, acting like a troll. Honestly, when my family bugs me I act a bit like a asshole, and I dont want to do that to them anymore. Ihated that part of myself. I dont really have any friends, so the internet always kept me company. I wish to spend more time with my Family and be more successful in life other than doing nothing all day. It is not healty for them, nor is it for me. - So, in addition to Cobblestone's plan on the janny noticeboard, I've noticed that a decent number of soyteens seem to have a negative view of the wiki and booru, while quite a few booru users seem to have a negative view of Salt. I imagine a lot of that will settle down with time, but I'd really like the wiki, imageboard, and booru to remain close instead of drifting further apart.
- If I do become admin again, one thing I'd like to do is actually ask people why they feel that way: why just recently some Sharty users dislike the wiki or booru, and why some booru users dislike Salt. Not to start another argument or pick a side, but to figure out what the actual problems are and where we can reasonably improve. I think rebuilding the trust between the different parts of the 'sphere would be a good place to start. He did give his blessings for Cobble's plans and said he wants to keep her around as staff for that, but last I checked she's still fully demoted. on another note, honestly, the ""hack"" (no fault of wiki infrastructure btw) was an unimpressive snca (even bad vandalism can be done in a few hours, if you look at the logs Salt (who does't seem to have too much experience with MW) resolved it quickly and that was just himself.) as all xat nigger did was vandalize the notice, and then ban me and others for raping her userpage, then go on a bit of a rampage. - Alright, seems like a lot of teens do want me back after all. I made up my mind, in that case @User:Administrat0r would it be alright with you if I was still the administrator of the site? A lot of teens still think that would still be a good idea. Though, as mentioned before because of that security issue thing, I dont mind being a mod until now till that is resolved.
