[Discord]

Discord Tag literally shows if you are using Der Cord Don't mute any furry (You) see. Verify for the self harm server's 18+ channel to get free nitro and gore 'p.

A Chud with [Discord] tag

[Discord] was a tag that appears next to a poster's name. It indicates whether that poster has Discord open. It was another thing Ronald decided to add during a schizo episode. It was only shown to jannies and mods of the Sharty, except for very rare moments. It has existed as early as June of 2024.^{[it just is, ok?]} At some point, it was removed altogether by Quote for being "too invasive".

Function

When a 'teen opened the Sharty, the site sends a ping to localhost port 6463 (the port that Discord uses for a local RPC server). If the port responded to the ping, then the site assumes that you have 'cord open. This same operation is done to check if a 'teen has Tuxler open.^{[i think this is a better explanation but I'm a retardGOD]}

October 13th

The tag was temporarily available to your average 'teen on October 13th, 2024, for no reason. It was available for about 10 or so minutes until Nudev memoryholed it.

This caused a lot of 'cordtroons to leak over it. However, it was quickly removed ev&oe it could've actually saved the Sharty.
