jubille is the previous developer of SoyBooru. He seemed to have come out of nowhere and gained much controversy for reapproving coal and then locking tags on them. His favorite variant is Brandon, specifically the Branigger subvariant.[2]
Controversy[edit | edit source]
Jubille joined the site on September 2, 2024. It is not exactly known when Jubille became the SoyBooru's developer, though it is thought to be around October 2024. Xhe was originally viewed with skepticism by users for being a literal who that suddenly gained power, as Jubille wasn't a popular user nor was there ever an announcement by Quote or anyone else that xhe would become the developer. Jubille remained unnoteworthy until drama regarding him locking tags on gooner posts took place. Jubille would continue to be seen negatively for this but was still relatively obscure, with the whole thing being washed away by grander booru namefag drama, likely because users didn't see the posts jubille supposedly locked or couldn't confirm it was xher who did it.
Escalation[edit | edit source]
Jubille would only start being massively hated and getting attention around late 2025, because the booru added a feature that showcased which janny or approver had approved a certain post. This in turn revealed that Jubille had reapproved previously deleted brimstone posts, including furry ones and even those involving Shoyta and Soylita. Around the same time Jubille started becoming more active in the comments, arguing with and baiting users on comment sections. Another event that in October was drama with fellow janny hotdoghead aka Doll, as Doll had disapproved some posts and banned booru namefag profesornothingburger for making blacked edits of Squirreljak and Catjak, which Doll considered zoophilic. The problem is that Jubille reapproved the posts, unbanned professornothingburger and demoted Doll which made the latter angry and start an rivalry with jubille with help of the Shroom.[3] Doll eventually did get his admin status (he was demoted AGAIN kek) back on the booru, but continued to be a detractor to Jubille.[4]

jubille is Mustard theory[edit | edit source]
It has been supposed that jubille is actually Mustard, due to Mustard once doing a QnA on a /qa/ thread where he acted, talked and addressed bait in the same way jubille would. It was the way he talked in the QnA thread that led people to hate Mustard for being so inactive about the BBC and BNWO "bait" and grooming threads, the same thing jubille does as well.[5] It was also noticed that immediately after jubille's ban, Mustard created account on 'booru under the name "custard".evendoe he is the only nigger in the admin team who can code or something
Death[edit | edit source]
On November 12, 2025, Warrior-Z, alongside Soysneed came back to the SoyBooru and ripped jubille's claws off the 'ru for >terrorizing my people, with xis final post being a shitpost.[6] As of now, Jubile has been unbanned from the SoyBooru.
