Soycrisis

The Soycrisis was a two day crisis in which all of the websites "in communion" with the sharty were temporarily down, with only the Soyjak.blog and IRC being accessible to soyteens in despair.

Causes

The crisis was caused by Froot not paying the server bills because he spent the money to fund on his galaxy gas addiction. After being called a greedy kike by everyone and lots of begging from soyteens that couldn’t go one day without the sharty and Jannies trying to desperately get in contact with him, he would eventually wake up from his galaxy gas trip and scrounge up enough money to reopen the servers. Froot would claim he failed to pay because he entered his credit card number wrong. He would later do an AMA for the event on the schlog and say that he was also away from home while drugged out of his mind and shieet, hence why he took long to fix it.

Snopes stated that this is the most accurate ‘toss to show what happened in the soycrisis.

Impact

The episode generated even more hate for Froot. With him being called an inconpetent bitch and his approval ratings got tanked. On those days, many soyteens sought refuge in the irc chat and posting on splinters for their daily soy-like activities. The schlog was also used for this same purpose, with new users joining and some that were inactive for months posting again, alongside new guests and guest posts. This caused the schlog to reach the record for highest daily post count in its history up to that point.
