Soyjak Wiki:Pages that look like the thing they're about

Here be edit wars, censorship and template spam.

Pages that look like the thing they're about are pages with a specific gimmick to self-demonstrate their topic (WAAAAAOW just like muh heccin Uncyclopedia!). This page serves as a guide of what to and what not to do when editing pages to be self-demonstrative.

What NOT to do:[edit | edit source]

  • Never make the page too hard to read or extremely ugly, exceptions are Schizophrenia, Pee, Poop and Slopjak.
  • Never make a new category exclusively to fit the article's gimmick (Example: making a new category called "Pages that look like the thing they're about fuggen jerdee" For the HTSM page or "Pages that look like the thing they're about though" for the Though page) This is for the sake of better categorization.
  • Never break the Manual of style to fit the article's gimmick.
  • Do NOT import template code into the article.
  • Never overdo the joke or else it wont be funny, this also goes for underdoing it (ex: adding "fuggen jerdee" one time into the HTSM page and adding the "Pages that look like the thing they're about" category.)
  • Don't add a very niche joke into the article, nobody cares about that shit. (ex: adding "KAPOW" at the end of every sentence in the "Chudjak" Page because its an inside joke in the soycord you're in.)

If it'd warrant a separate "readable version" page, then that's a sign the gimmick is being forced too hard. We don't need articles split into two separate and likely very desynced versions because some nusoi overdid a gimmick that was already barely funny before it got overdone.
