Operation Deltarape was a failed operation planned by the Sharty with the goal of spoiling chapters 3 and 4 of Deltarune, which released on June 4, 2025. However the operation failed due to the size of the deltarune fandom and constant demoralization, as well as soyteens not wanting to play Deltarune so they can find spoilers.
Background[edit | edit source]
Deltarune is an trooncore kino A25 indie game created by Toby Fox as a follow-up to Undertale (it's not a sequel doe because it just isn't, ok?). The third and fourth chapter of the game have kept the fanbase waiting for 3 years by 2025, and when Toby Fox announced them on the second of april the fanbase went absolutely apeshit. Due to the sheer amount of hype troons kept up for the release, soyteens decided to milk some gegs out of them by spoiling the long-awaited chapter to as much of the cult-like fanbase as possible.
The Operation[edit | edit source]
Part One[edit | edit source]
Part One began on June 1, 2025. With the objective being finding the usernames of as many fans as possible on Reddit and Discord, as well as finding YouTubers with connections to Deltarune. The thread brought limited results.[1]
Part Two[edit | edit source]
Part two began on June 4, 2025 when both chapters were released. However, it quickly hit a roadblock due to there being barely any 'teens willing to play through the absolute niggerhell of a game to get spoilers, and the only one who did couldn't continue after chapter 3. Since the spoiler gathering attempts failed (ev&oe we datamined actual spoilers(add them then)), 'teens decided to instead start lying about Undyne dying in chapter 4, which gathered a limited amount of seethe. The stickied raid thread quickly turned into a derailment niggerhell and game walkthrough blogs due to burnout. After around 700 replies the raid fully died down, and was declared a failraid.[2]
