PPH
PPH (Posts Per Hour) or useless number is a statistic that measures the average number of posts that an imageboard (or specific board) has per hour, it can be likened as "The reddit karma for all imageboard owners.". The statistic serves no real purpose to most people, and is often used to measure the activity of an imageboard or singular board.
Religion[edit | edit source]
PPH is worshiped by imageboard owners, and is often used to constantly compare different imageboard sites. The PPH religion is also practiced by some users of the site, often forcefully converted against their will. The religion teaches that above all else, PPH should be the main goal of an imageboard site owner. Allegedly PPH is used to power vibrators which is why a chan owner, through any means, would increase the site's PPH. The religion uses psy-ops like using events, "5 gorbillion replies [insert shitty admin here] has to ban this shit no body cares about variant my discord rival made", and many more. It is also said that they brag about their BBC per hour whenever there's a grooming session on discord.
Effects[edit | edit source]
The effects of PPH and its worship are catastrophic, causing a massive dip in post quality in favor of quantity and useless division into factions constantly at war, producing more potent brimstone in a sitewide arms race that will eventually kill the imageboard. PPH obsession also causes obession over characters from popular media, posting of pornographic material, and endless bait wars.

Mutt hours and Euro hours are specific hours of the Sharty when Americans/Europeans are awake. They often have different PPH’s. Since there are more Americans than Europeans on the Sharty, Mutt hours are often more active.
