The Cellar is the official archive site for soyjak.party and the successor to SudeArchive / Log Warehouse.
It is hosted on Quote's laptop in the damp basement of his parent's house. This probably is the reason the website is never up for more than a day anymore.
History[edit | edit source]
It was created in response to SudeArchive's sudden closure. Thanks to some cooperation between the archives' admins, all of SudeArchive's data was copied to this archive.
The site is named after a type of room found below ground level which is commonly used for storing coal, in reference to how the Sharty is a coalmine.
The site also serves older posts (without images), some going all the way back to 2021,[1] sourced from the public Log Warehouse dump.[2] (even though the posts spanning from 3M to 6M didn't exist)
It previously used the domain https://archive.marge.moe but was later moved to https://archive.soyjak.st/.
Issues[edit | edit source]
It has faced some issues, however. Sometimes it would stop archiving posts for periods of time; thus, you should consider manually archiving threads, especially if the most recent posts on the site are from a couple days ago. Otherwise, the thread is in danger of being lost forever. This issue is also responsible for waves of threads going unarchived.
Another issue with the site is that certain features don't work, such as some of the advanced search features.
On December 4, 2024, after a short period of maintenance, the Cellar came back online, with it archiving almost every board available (except /gem/) on the Party. It went down on February 5, 2025, but came back online on May 14. As of May 22, 2025, the site redirects to the janny IRC bouncer, but it is hoped that it returns SQQN.
Quote has said that running The Cellar is expensive considering all the images on the archive. However he has said that someone is helping him run it again.[3]
