straw.page, also stylized Straw.Page or Strawpage, is a mobile-first website builder and blogging platform. It lets users create simple, customizable personal sites, landing pages, blogs, link-in-bio profiles, or experimental pages directly from a phono. Sites end in .straw.page (subdomains like yoursite.straw.page or custom domains). By virtue of the simplicity with which one may fiddle with a domain as they please, users of this site are mostly trannies who find it convenient to express themselves and their coaly ideas.

History

The Straw.Page domain was first registered on July 29, 2020, though it would only be released to the public sometime in January 2021, when it would be archived by the Internet Archive. Early on, it had 10 thousand active sites, and it now sees nearly 21 million visits in July 2026.

Its sole and only developer is the London-based Osman Ahmed - @okozzie_ on X and Osman on Product Hunt. He has a history of previous experiments, most notably Notepin.co; earlier, the short-lived SpeedFont.

He'd first announce straw.page 6 years ago on January 31, 2021, on the subreddit r/webdev:

It is relatively unremarkable and no archives of his now-banned account are known to exist.
