The Internet Archive is an archive website where you can view/download lots of stuff, like pirating downloading almost any game or mod and view archived sites. It has no ads and (probably) no datamining, and it even has a .onion version of the website so you can browse it with TOR. Unfortunately, the obsessed jannies have banned the Sharty from being archived there.^🔒

How To Pirate Download Media On The Internet Archive

Step 1 - Search up the media you are looking for in the Internet Archive, You should download the US and/or uncensored version of the media if possible. Once you found an archive of the media that is of good quality go to it.

Step 2 - If you are pirating software you should look for signs of malware, like comments warning others the file is a virus or antiviruses saying the file is suspicious. While this has never been documented, zip files could be bombs. You can open them in a virtual machine to tell if they are a virus/spyware/zip bomb.

Step 3 - Scroll down and go to "DOWNLOAD OPTIONS", click on the file type you are looking for and make sure to pick the original file, otherwise the Internet Archive will make lossy versions (MP4/OGV For videos and MP3/OGG for audio files) instead.

Step 4 - Once you clicked on it (if the file is a media file) it will play in the browser. If it is not media or is zipped then it will start downloading. If you want to download media like a video or an audio file, click on the 3 dots and then click the "Download" option.

Archival Of Soysphere Media

Because of the website's nature as an archive, the Internet Archive (excluding the Wayback Machine) is great for preserving Soysphere media like vidya games and soyfolders. You can search up and find a ton of Soysphere media, including an archive of this very 'ki in its entirety.

The Wayback Machine (Also known as the Gaytrash Machine^{[No one says this]}) is an online archive service made and owned by the Internet Archive that was formerly used by ‘teens to archive Aryan Sharty threads such as raids and gemeralds until NIGGERVANTAJANNIES ‘nished the domains soyjak.st and wiki.soyjak.st from the site.

If you are 'chiving something, even if it isn't Sharty-related, you VILL NOT solely use the Wayback Machine as it has very leaky jannies; a lot of not heckin' wholesome websites such as 4chan, Kiwi Farms and the Sharty are blacklisted.

The 1989 2023 and 2025 Massacres

On December 13 2023 (or 13^th December 2023 for Euromutts), jannies ACK’ed the domain soyjak.party from the Archive, meaning that THOVSANDS of gemeralds became lost media. The series of Great Domain Drops (as well as Froot not giving the soyjak.party domain to Quote prior to leaving) forced the Sharty to move from soyjak.party to soyjak.st, but ‘chivejoons banned the soyjak.st domain as well as the ‘ki equivalent, soyjakwiki.org, from Internet Archive on October 2025.

How to prevent this?

There is a very easy to prevent the loss of a certain archives, luckily sites like Archive.today and Ghostarchive enable rearchival as if they are the original URLs. This guide shows you how to archive a large majority of URLs.

Go to web.archive.org, enter the domain of choice, and go to sitemap or URLs. On sitemap you just hover your mouse over it and copy the URL, and it will automatically copy the newest version of that URL (for that year). Let's give it a try, say we copy https://web.archive.org/web/20240630/soyak.party/soy/thread/7847823.html, now what? Enter it into Ghostarchive or Archive.today and they will start rearchiving it and make it count as their original URL o algo, done!
