iFunny (an ironic name as 90% of everything on it is Reddit and Xitter reposts) is a Cypriot Indian datamining operation started on April 26, 2011. The app is best known for its watermark put at the bottom of any meme downloaded there and is mainly meant to be used on a phone as it's actual website is heavy neutered.
Since 2014, iFunny has been silently colonized by multiple warring factions of shitposters including: Soyteens, Weaboos, MLG posters, /pol/ activists, catholic and pagan nationalists, Kaiserboos, GIF captioners, chuds & centrists pretending to be libtard Redditors, libertarian meximutts who get baited by said chuds and centrists, a Christian schizo who thinks the word Jesus came from a roman sun deity and believes Christmas is evil, a group of FNAF autists who post fluffy pony torture comics, an autist who drew art about Sans from Undertale and was thought to have live streamed himself committing suicide with an anvil before coming back, an autist who said female communists should be put into camps where they're forced to have sex with dogs and horses, a Danish retard who uses dildo machines and also had a thread on /incel/ that I replied to with a bunch of v's and got permabanned by Red, people who celebrate Dinosaur Month instead of Pride Month, an AI that auto-generates comments on every post, literal criminals and a few Foodists.[1] This led to a situation similar to 4cuck and /qa/ in which a large layer of Reddit dust posted by latinx hid a secret inner-community of tanzanite GIF captions, comics and political essays alongside original memes that would leak onto mainstream parts of the internet.[2]
The app is owned by FunCorp, a tiny company in Cyprus (formerly Russia) that has consistently fucked with the app by removing the Rage Comic Maker, adding a wordfilter which makes posting insufferably difficult, and banning various chuds to the point where the user base that actually posts OC instead of twitter screenshots has fallen off to a small group of whiny oldfags.

After launching in 2011, iFunny was just a regular meme app for a while, gaining a culture in 2012 centered around Nutella, Eminem & Kanye West fighting in comics, various 2010 memes, Dolan Duck, and Will Ferrell, who was popular enough to be declared king of the app. Kik users would invade the app in 2013 and were seen by the iFunniers similar to how Soyjakkers see Discord users, and possibly were the first people to post Shovel Dog and make Peter Scully jokes (thankfully only in the form of SFW Rapeson-esque jokes thoughbeit). Bronies, Furries, Emos and other Tumblrites would invade the app soon after, but as GamerGate and Anti-SJW sentiment was in full swing, the app's veterans would form trolling groups such as "Swaggers With Attitude", "Meme Team" and "Conservatives United" to attack the coalers, fighting them from 2014-2017 until the tags they posted in were wiped with MLG & deep fried Spongebob memes, receding to small pockets and group chats.
The next few years of the app would create a divide between the redditor masses on featured and collective while the chuds who posted OC and gemeralds would remain connected through a web of subscriptions known as "Deep iFunny". Deep iFunniers would influence the memetic sphere, raid & colonize Reddit, almost get Minecraft to name a mob "Braphog", create dozens of obscure lolcows, make countless gems, write long political essays, raid 4cuck /pol/ and overall do largely keyed things. Disaster struck however in 2020 when Comic Maker was removed, causing users to leave out of frustration, followed by the wordfilter getting steroids in 2022, causing more users to leave out of frustration, followed by a massive banwave in 2024, causing even more users to leave out of frustration. Deep iFunny is now in a dark age where only of handful of oldfags that post 4cuck screenshots and politicoal, however, a small group of chuds are working on splinters that could perchance cause a second golden age of trolling and memes, including integration with the Soysphere.

On July 9, 2024, a date which will live in infamy, version 10 was released and with it came a massive "Banocaust" of around 41-60% of the core user base, leaving only feature creatures and some lucky Deep iFunniers. The response initiated a civil war between the oldfags & their subscribers against the pajeet empire. Hundreds, possibly thousands of posts about beef were spammed across the app causing major johnson leakage by the new jannies, which still goes on to some extent. This mostly peaceful protest may or may not still be going on (I haven't checked). Some users were lucky to survive or be able to make alts, some moved to colonies on Substack, Xitter and Scored Communities, some went to the Party and some were never heard from again. Of the sharty immigrants, they became newfags and make common rookie mistakes which you WILL correct them on.
Root caused the Banocaust theory[edit | edit source]
Independent fact checkers have noticed some connections to Frootcord and nu-iFunny's elite:
- The jannies have been confirmed to be Indian like Root.
- The word "jarty" is apparently censored, implying the jannies know about nusoicaca culture and splinters.
- During the chud takeover in 2014, a group of anti-brony, anti-furfag offensives known as "Swaggers With Attitude" bullied off the fandoms that coal up our 'log, so perbraps Root feared they would liberate the sharty.
- The ban sentences were until July 7, 2034. Root resigned on July 7, 2024. Sound familiar?

- Sectionalism - Approver on the 'ru as well as a frequent contributor. Best known for uploading classical art parodies and infographs.
- Colaws - Morbidly obese voice actor who narrates comics about cartoon characters acting like niggers or something. Makes frequent use of Sharty slang in his videos, which has drawn criticism from many 'teens.
- PETRIXXX - Namefag who makes MLG gifcaps and machinimas on youtube, also edited this article hehehe
- Feti - American who defended Italians after FatGreasyItalian left, became suicidal after finding out his high school crush married a 'jeet.
- Lord Miles - A British e-celeb chud known for going to and vlogging dangerous and unusual places around the world, mainly the middle east, where he got imprisoned for a year. Got into a beef with Feti in his prime, though now mostly reposts stuff from his twitter.
- Ferd - Deranged lolcow who lives in a mental facility after his dad caught him passed out being buttfucked by a dildo machine. He posts a variety of memes and infographs such as a monthly graph of how many times he's gooned, A24 professional voiceovers, selfies, workout videos, stonetoss political cartoons, nudes, and lots of geology stuff. His ideology involves a transhumanist technocracy with no religion or gender and considers playing Minecraft & doing laundry to be work.
- DeepWebIntel - Another infamous lolcow, he looks like an ugly Jew and used to frequently overshare & post videos of him doing autistic shit such as singing very awful song parodies, meeting a black stripper at 2 PM during the day, having an obese girlfriend who apparently cucked him, making a shitty beverage he called the "liquid panty dropper", bragging to his parents about being famous on iFunny, and many, many more. His most infamous video is him pretending to be at a college party where he would've known if he was drunk. When people brought this up in 2023, he got mad and sent 'p to them leading him to be doxed and have multiple house visitors.
- Saboteur - Known in real life as Sam Woodward, they would have you believe he stabbed a gay Jew and was sentenced to life in California prison, but in reality everyone knows Sab was framed for the murder after trying to get aid for his Jewish friend who fell on a knife 47 times. Right before this occurred, he promised to rate various accounts out of 10, something iFunniers are still waiting for to this day.
- Theright_bryan - A gay lolcow who would respond to various Tiktoks with shakespearean poetry. Some say he's a nigger, but oh honey, we don't frown on a little brown, we really don't. He also stole the /bp/ 50000 GET.
- Amerikaner - Colaws' right-hand man who has made SoyBooru references in his posts before. Also made that "Nigga you have no swag" Toy Story meme.
- Jeffstein - Fat foodist pedo satanist who spams bait and is infamous for making a video where he cums into a syringe and injects it into a rat. For some reason a third of deep iFunniers still interact with this cordnigger.
- Nibbadigga - NuLee who hates PETRIXXX & was behind behind the "SHITRIXXX IS THE BROWNEST FATTEST NIGGER" spam in May 2024.
- Herobrine - Former owner of the r/Bruhfunny subreddit in 2019, an iFunny colony on Reddit that caused mass clitty leakage from jannies and r/AHS, being taken down during the George Floyd chimp event. Also the creator of the iFunny RPG and tons of gemmy memes.
- Unfunnyantisocialman - Namefag who's active on /swa/.
- Nine - avatarfags as a genderless BFDI character on /qa/ and spammed /swa/ propaganda. Likes doxing people.
- Froot - Either uses the app or knows someone who uses the app.
- iGvza - Whiny Arab pissbaby who is the constant host of the Groyper Pissbaby Blackpiller Clitty Leakage World Tour and transhearts walkable cities.
- Deflated - Skinny nice guy known for his romantic failures and hilarious textposts. He pooped on his dad's head, and some believe he is the alter-ego of a long gone poster with the same style known as FatPat.
- PoopMadness - A Benadryl addict and gunsmith from Utah who showcases homemade guns and explores niggerhell.
- Mookie - created xFunny on xitter after being banned in the 2024 banocaust and doxed one of the new latinx jannies
