Soytopia is the official Team Fortress 2 server for the Sharty, in the same way Soycraft is the Sharty's official 'craft server.
There was a dedicated board for the server at /fort/ (defunct link due to domain change and board removal). Pinned threads (or posts made under a sticky) are usually made on /soy/ by Mist beforehand to announce gamenights that usually occur on Saturdays, at 2pm CST.
It is owned by Mist, with Quote is the current developer. Doll was the one who came up with the idea for an official Team Fortress 2 server, with his friend Chimp being the manager of the first Soytopia server. Even doe the majority of the players are from Europe, the server is hosted in Miami, because the owner is a Selfish Little Fuck.
Differences between Soytopia and Official Valve Servers
