A stalemate or neutralraid is a raid that is neither a winraid nor a failraid. A raid ending in a stalemate means that neither the Sharty nor the target of the raid was significantly benefited or harmed by the raid, meaning that both parties wasted their time fighting each other, to end in nothing.

Even though this was always called a neutralraid.

Name origin

[edit | edit source]

The term "stalemate" comes from chess, where "stalemate" means the king is not currently in check but has no legal move that does not put it in check. This means the game ends in a draw.
