Bantculture, also sometimes known by its users as the Banty, whalejak.party, the whalejakky, or the whaley (also bbc, bnat) is a Touhou-themed, "high IQ", semi-ironic incel and semi-ironic otaku imageboard derived from /bant/ from 4chan. It was created by an obsessed Latinx tranny who used to post on the Sharty until xe was 'oxed, which made xer seethe so hard xe deleted xer entire soyjak collection. The site also contains loli porn.

The website is known to have multiple passwords that must be correctly entered to access the site, and these passwords are apparently rotated constantly. However, stochastically speaking, if you choose any of their buzzword,s such as "gyate" or "whale" you will probably pass the filter. Apparently, one leaked password was "hecatia", which is the name of a touhou character. Another password is "hecatiaballs". Now there is even more to get past. Xheir current password is on xheir FAQ page; the current password as of 2026 January 1st is "whaleyed". never mind xhey rotated it again; fuck whaleniggers. The website also has features such as allowing any memeflags to be posted. The admins will also permanently ban you from xheir site with no chance of appeal if you post anything even remotely related to Soyjak culture, especially if (You) are raiding the site.

Banty was created on 14 September 2023 by a Canadian former Sharty user named Aryan Chad (also known as AC or Bad Hombre). AC is possibly Latinx and trans btw if that matters. AC is best known for being extremely schizophrenic and obsessed, and makes extremely schizophrenic and brimstone posts and threads on Banty daily. It is unknown if AC is related to the former Sharty namefag Remilia, because apparently Remilia Scarlet is one of AC's favorite Touhou characters.

History

• 14 September 2023 - The image board is created
• 7 November 2023 - The hacker known as Sharty raids banty locked behind a password with the help of frogCHADS, forcing jannies to change it multiple times and then finally take the whole website down. The site is later restored.
• 20 May 2025 - AC said some people DDoSed the website, saying that the Sharty won, so he set up Cuckflare instead of something better like go-away [or whatever inv.nadeko.net uses is called], or just simply shutting it down for some reason...
• 9 September 2025 - the Sharty raided the site and tried to steal 200k get on Cirno Day, causing mass seethe
• 27 November 2025 - one of its most prolific namefags who was a literal troon, suigintou (named after the Rozen Maiden character), acked xerself. (Later on 21 December, xe was proven to be alive though)

Culture

The culture of Banty is, as its name suggests, heavily defined by the culture of /bant/ from 4chan, but also the Sharty due to AC's history on the Sharty. It is also related to the subreddit r/2hujerk, where many of its users also came from, which is a subreddit about larping as schizophrenic or "insanae" Touhou fans. It is similar to Meirachan, both having /v/hu fans. Some of its memes come from Futaba Channel. The site is also starting to gain more influence from the Sharty, due to Sharty immigrants polluting the bant culture of banty and posting soyjaks instead of touhou. Most notably, despite AC trying to hide xer former history of being a sharty user, xhe has been spamming Cobson and soyjaks recently.

The imageboard primarily discusses Touhou Project, Umineko, and Dragon Ball (latinx culture enjoyed by spics like satoko_houjou_fan). There is also discussion about anime and Japanese culture.

They WERE obsessed with these animals called "sukusuku hakutaku" which they call "whales", even though they don't even resemble whales; but rather, chinchillas! (someone pls post that totally super funny whale vs chinchilla image here) They also post these drawings called "gyate" [1]. Posting Touhou futa porn with speech bubbles there is treated "ironically" as if you're posting slopjaks here. There are also trannies and femboys who post "boyhus" (males crossdressing as touhou characters). Expect cartoon 'p.

Because Banty allows users to choose an arbitrary amount of custom flags which comes from an extension called bantflags, this is their equivalent of namefags, as flag combinations are easily identified with certain users/individuals.

Whale

Whale, Whalejak, Chinchilla, or as it was originally called Sukusuku Hakutaku is a staple of banty culture. This is the most important bant meme, Yukari whale (not actually a whale). Sometimes called Fuwarin, it's Yakumo Yukari from Touhou Project in the form of a fanmade character "sukusuku hakutaku". Likes sweets and tea, dislikes coffee and spicy food. Originally from 2chan. She lives in Yurukusanae with a caterpillar, and there is a creature that survives by eating her poop.

If you search " yukari_whale" on SoyBooru you will find many jaks of AC, who have been made into a jak.

Gyate Booru (or "the net" probably) is the booru used by Banty, which contains gyate (trannytaku (tranny otaku) drawings mainly of touhou characters). Gyate are basically anti-soyjaks (according to Snopes).
