Ernest Khalimov[a], AKA Gigachad[b] is a man who partnered with Krista Sudmalis for a photo-art project Sleek'N'Tears which is based on multiple fitness models.[1] He is best known for liking things that you like and disliking things that you don't like. Soyjak and Gigachad are often portrayed as close friends, despite their differences. In modern times, it is more common to see AI gigachads.
He has his own (slow) board on the Party at /giga5/ (formerly /giga/), and Gigachad is a rollable name on soyjak.party, where it adds ", how could you tell?" to the end of the post.
It is alleged that he is a communist who was born and raised in East Berlin and moved to Russia later as an adult. This is because he made a post saying:
Hello. I heard that I have many nationalities. There are only two. Made in GDR 🇩🇪🇷🇺 From nowhere with love.[2]
along with him posting a few stories about his childhood in East Berlin. During an Instagram comment Q&A, he specified he is ethnically 50% German, 25% Russian and 25% Tatar.[3]
Life
He was born in March 1st 1969 in East Berlin, East Germany to a Russian-Tatar immigrant father and a German mother. He eventually learnt both German and Russian growing up in a mixed household.[4]. At the age of 10 he got gifted a gigafly by Gigahitler. He took good care of his gigafly, raising it, and by the age of 18 he finally rode his fly for the first time. He trained his gigafly for 6 more years until finally going into battle against the 'cordtroons and lost his fly in the war, which angered him into exploding inside of Troon HQ with a suicide vest and he went to Gigaheaven, the (mostly) grayscale area where most gigas and gigaflies live.
Gigachad is also a survivor of the GigaSing 201Ϫ music festival shooting. He has been suffering from PTSD ever since.
Gigachad also helped co-develop Ableton Live (Aryan DAW)

Some gigachads may have secret messages hidden in them disguised as a nonsense gibberish. Below are some attempts at decrypting those messages and possible interpretations of them.
Gigafly
Gigafly is an AI gigachad trend that has expanded and developed its own subculture and lore. Proponents of this meme celebrate its capacity to parody and subvert expectations by placing Gigachad atop a giant fly, but others claim that this meme represents the thinking of pedophiles very well. According to these critics, because Gigachad can stand on a fly, Gigafly posters think they can groom children.
Gigaquoting
Gigaquoting is the practice of quoting somebody as a gigachad. It is a parody of soyquoting where instead of insulting someone and making them sad, you complement them and make their day better. There have been many, many gigachad edits made over the years. Although gigaquoting is a favorite pastime of many teens, mental health professionals have raised concerns about its harmful long-term side effects.
A new version of gigaquoting is going around where you click the [Quote] button, and replace the quote with a space.
Giga-unquoting
Giga-unquoting is a variation of Gigaquoting where one attempts to undo a soyquote. This is done repeating the quoted material (subtracting the arrow), and adding a giga as the picrel. Doing this entails that you look like a gigachad IRL and that you believe the quoted material. In other words, you say this but you do not look like this.
Novelty oekaki gigas
Starting from August 19, 2025[5], one poster would begin creating novelty oekaki gigas that would gain some popularity. One poster even published a guide on how to falsify them (create oekaki gigas that mimic the style of the originals).[6]
Gigaobjects
Gigaobjects are a type of gigachad of grayed-out objects that look like giga. A list of notable gigaobject examples include the gigachair, giga-apple gigatoast and gigaoreo. It is said that if you eat the giga-apple you literally turn into a giga.

On October 15th, 2017 a Redditor posted the Instagram model Ernest Khalimov on r/bodybuilding and the comments were in absolute shock reacting to his looks.[7]
A day later on October 16th, 2017 Gigachad was introduced to 4cuck for the very first time on /r9k/. [8] This can be regarded as the first gigapost on an imageboard.
