The New World Order (NWO for short) is a form of administrative control planned for future societies that entails a technocratic government controlled by a cabal of rich, powerful jews and globalist plutocrats seeking endless power while promoting significant worsening of the quality of life for the vast majority of the global population, who get treated as cattle. This concept has been discussed and extensively satirized during the early era of of Soyjak culture around 2020 to 2022.

History[edit | edit source]

The New World Order has been a long running "conspiracy theory", to the point you'll receive a (((Wikipedia context box))) on YouTube under videos talking about it. The concept got newfound popularity at the early 2020s because of draconian measures taken during the Covid-19 pandemic and the World Economic Forum's announcement of their plans for "The Great Reset".[1] In the context of /qa/ culture, the world created by the order is idealized as a hyper-authoritarian, transhumanist, anti-human sci-fi dystopia where the most powerful confine the lower classes to subpar living conditions while abusing them as a work force with the additional usage of advanced technology for control, supression of dissent and quelling "wrongthink", all under a propagandistic allure of "futurism" and "progress". The association of this concept with Soyjaks is using the latter to satirize perceived supporters of this movement, particularly liberals and science worshiping redditors who supported authoritarian measures taken during the Covid-19 lockdowns, likened to the future entailed by the NWO. The humor relies on these soyjaks being in favor of a system who is against their own well being, serving as a political critique of both those who are easily manipulated by propaganda disguised as official narratives and the real life ideas that inspired the NWO as conceptualized here. All described here being a symptom of the general pessimism about the future during the Covid era and the government actions surrounding it.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Politics[edit | edit source]

The most popular interpretation of the NWO is of an one-world government controlled by elites with little to no participation of regular citizens on governance. The administrative body of this world would be composed of multinational mega-corporations and global organizations such as the UN, but the primary one being the World Economic Forum itself for being the responsible for promoting the Great Reset that would bring the order into place, with Klaus Schwab taking a leader role such as a dictator.

Technology[edit | edit source]

The New World Order is synonymous with futuristic tech primarily with the Great Reset's focus on the year of 2050 and the implication that such a system or something very similar to it is destined to be imposed in real life at a remote future. The term "Fourth Industrial Revolution" is also closely associated as it was popularized by Klaus Schwab himself, describing advanced robotics, advanced artificial intelligence and high connectivity. It is imagined by early 'jakking idealists that such technologies would be employed maliciously against humanity with the creation of mass surveillance states and extensive propaganda, aiming to stop anyone who might have disfavourable opinions of the regime. Tl;dr: Literally 1984 but futuristic.

Example of a pod.

Living standards[edit | edit source]

The primary real estate asset for the majority of the population is living in pods, all placed inside massive communes or workplaces. The main appeal of the pods is that they fit with the futuristic theme and have pretty small sizes, specially compared to any decent home spaces like houses or apartments. This fits with the idea that the government of the new order wants to provide its citizens with the minimum possible, complete disregarding comfort. Pods can also be interpreted as efficient use of space by the authorities while keeping less qualms about issues from overpopulation.

Culinary[edit | edit source]

The cuisine in this world can be summarized as eating the bugs, which is a satire of the real life push by elites to encourage people to start eating insects on the ground of supposed "environmental preservation". While chinks do eat bugs or whatever, in western culture, the practice is generally reviled, and many interpret this as the rich trying to encourage people into normalizing the unacceptable and lowering their own quality of life for the benefit of the powerful who continue to eat regular meat. Another dish heavily present in NWO kitchens is soy, for obvious reasons, primarily its emasculation powers that serve to keep the populace weak.

Economics[edit | edit source]

The slogan of the Great Reset is "You Will Own Nothing And Be Happy", but only the "owning nothing" part is guaranteed. It is vague whether it means abolishing private property or if it's merely symbolic, tantamount to concepts like replacing physical items with digital media, setting up a system of exclusively rentals or subscription services, eternal and generational debt slavery, basically any system that squashes freedom and keeps the financial sectors and government in complete control over the consuming habits of the population.
