Citruswarring, or Lime-Orange war, was a fruit war campaign on /soy/, mainly between Limeposters and Orangeposters in 2023-24^[1], which largely ended with Total Lime Victory after the #2222222^[2] and #2333333^[3] GETs were both achieved by limes. The end of the Lime-Orange war brought with it the end of Fruitjakking's popularity, as fruitjaks themselves had fallen out of style and become oversaturated and over-represented on /soy/. It is largely forgotten and considered SNCA, but did bring with it a few gems.

Orange and Lime posters were always at odds with one another, but maintained a delicate balance. After Sharty killing coal repeatedly got all of the major /soy/ GETs, limeGODS managed to obtain GET #2222222, spurring widespread limeposting. In retaliation, orangeposters began a vicious guerilla warfare campaign on the 'log. As of 2026, active Citruswarring is unheard of, though in May 2026 there was a cumquat spammer who would always instantly quote your post with a cumquat soyjak.

Citruswarring bears a similarity to the GTA5 alien wars in its color dynamic.

Other citrus types participated in the war, but this was uncommon, and they were swiftly BTFO’d most of the time.
