Saltist dequoteification edit

Dequotification refers to the actions done by Salt, in the days after he took ownership of the site, which have the goal to reverse any decisions made by Quote during his time as admin. These have been popular with 'teens, as many Quotist policies and rules have been unpopular. However, Salt doing the opposite of the old administration leads some to believe he's just Quote under another identity.

Salt has done the following in order to dequoteify the Sharty:

• Remove the name field on /soy/
• Banning Averi and Smuglet posters
• Removed many wordfilters
• Reverting bans given during Quote's term (Including the Brownocaust)
• Allowing discussion about Roblox
• Demoting all Quote appointed jannies from the sharty
• Cracking down on porn but allowing gore at the same time
• Allow the wiki page about the 5th Soyvil War to stay up. Any attempts to document the Second Great Handover and the chaos around it as a Soyvil War were shut down by the Quote administration and its jannies, and classified as a soysurgency instead. The fact that were 7 of them during Quote's year and 3 months as admin really shows how weak and unpopular his administration was.
• Permanently banning many SoyBooru namefags from /soy/, sometimes from the entire sharty
• Allowing the mention of more splinters in the wiki, even hostile ones such as the Chinny
• The return of previously deleted templates
• Enacting the Staffpocalypse on the 'ru

When the Soysphere fully came back online with Salt as owner, many 'teens viewed the new owner with lots of skepticism, the majority claiming it is a psyop. Depending on how you count admins, Salt is also Admin number 6. Had he not done anything, these accusations would have been the defining facts about his character. Suddenly undoing almost every single unpopular rule hugely boosted his popularity, but only time will tell if Salt will lead the site to a golden age, or end it.
