Mediators, AKA Dalit, less commonly medilators, or rather Quote’s Little Bitch is a position within the staff hierarchy. They were entered into the unpaid workforce on June 24, 2024. Estimates approximate the number of mediators to be around 50.

Mediators are below jannies and essentially serve as their helpers. Unlike jannies, they cannot delete posts outright, but instead have the ability to vote to delete posts. A post is only deleted once a certain amount of mediators have voted. They do not have their own capcodes and are told to remain anonymous. This pretty much makes them rulecucks and invisible 'P scanners that do it for free. They do not have access to janny exclusive boards such as /j/ and /test/, but instead have their own board to communicate called /mediator/.

The mediator position was created by ROOT on May 11, 2024, opening the application the same day.

What they do

This is what all mediators have to go through, don't be mean to them, they already have enough on their plate.

Mediators are tasked with sifting through media uploaded to the Sharty that violate rules 1, 2, 3, 6, or 9. Once a piece of media is approved, the hash is put into the system and the file can be posted again by anyone without approval.^{[it just is, ok?]}

Wiki

This very wiki has roles similar to mediators called approvers and rollbackers, who can moderate the wiki but don't have access to janny's tools of the trade. They are tasked with approving or rejecting nusois or anonymous editors, and quickly reverting vandalism, respectively. If your edit gets rejected by an approver, chances are the edit was too coaly and needs to be gemmed up before getting accepted. The edit could've also been involved in an edit conflict that wasn't worth resolving. Still, the threshold is lax and at least 90% of new edits are approved.

There are also mediators in an similar vein to the wiki ones, except they manually approve each new post that comes in.

Trolling

Mediators are extremely leaky and easy to troll. There are many ways to do it, but they may get upset and tell a real janny to ban you.

• Uploading extremely long and uninteresting or otherwise unwatchable videos.
• Spamming Oekaki or other not already approved images.
• Uploading files with statements such as "Approve me if you are a faggot".
• Making fun of mediators in unapproved images or in reports.

Identifying Mediators

While it may be difficult, there are still ways you can identify them:

• Mediators have a [V]ote button next to posts. If someone mistakenly posts a screenshot containing it, they are a Mediator.
• Mediators browse the site through mod.php, and may accidentally post links giving this away.
• Mediators have access to a mediator only board as well as boards that are locked. If they are retarded enough to namefag with the same name on a hidden board that is then leaked, then they are a mediator or other higher-privileged staff.
• Mediators, are perceived to look exactly like Jannies, but are more prone to butthurt; as such, xheir skin is quite usually lime green.
• Their pecker is actually 41% larger than your regular old janny's pecker!

• mediator49, heckingemmy / UID 81 - Fired for leaking /mediator/. Best known for sending bomb threats to police, and spamming the same Murder Drones 'jak everywhere. Got Czechia rangebanned because of his addiction of spamming his SNCA slop show.
• mediator69, KaptainKike / UID 236 - Fired for leaking his login on /soy/ over 'cado being unbanned. Was an IRC janny.
• mediator78, Gold / UID 218 - Fired for leaking xis mediator status..
• This literal who - Fired for exposing himself as a mediator. Mediator ID is unknown.

Suspected mediators

These people have been observed tripfagging on boards where it is disabled or posting mod.php links, suggesting they are mediators or higher up the staff ladder.
