Secret Club Syndrome or Secret Club Mentality is the fallacious idea that imageboards are secret clubs and that sharing any information about them is "LE BAD" according to both 4chuds and soyteens. (specially when that information and memes are shared to Twitter Niggers and Trannies) Basically hasn't even held true since 2008 chanology protests at the latest due to the long-lasting presence of greentext and general meme scraping of 4chan content on sites such as Know Your Meme, Reddit and iFunny.
Often used as a justification for Newfag Repellant.
