Usage of copium by its target audience.

Copium is a medical substance whose main purpose is to help users cope after not getting their way (such as losing a soyduel, participating in a failraid, losing an argument, getting baited, etc). It is often found in gas form, stored in a tank, where the copium gets pumped into the user's lungs. It's often used by frogs, troons, soyboys and other variants. Its effects vary between person to person, but most of the time it leads to delusions, denial and an uncontrollable rage.

A variant of copium can be found known as hopium. Instead of helping the user cope, it floods the user's head with the feeling of hope even when faced with a situation that has little to no chance of improving.

History[edit | edit source]

Copium was first discovered in July 2019 by Dr. Soyberg when he was experimenting in his lab to create a new drug to help people cope. After many tries, Dr. Soyberg would eventually get the first form of copium after mixing carbon and opium. It came out as an orderless foggy gas. Dr. Soyberg would enlist the help of Frog to discover the effects of the newfound drug. Dr. Soyberg would go on to sell the formula to Klaus Schwab and the WHO for them to mass produce and provide to the masses.

The release of copium was a success, with many flocking to get their hands on some. But soon sales spiked and prices increased, causing a shortage of copium and leading many to seethe. This was a bad time, especially during Covid-19 when everyone was trying to cope. Klaus Schwab would reach out to Dr. Soyberg again to find a better formula that would be easier to mass produce. Soon, Dr. Soyberg would refine his formula that was acceptable for big pharma and the new product would be shipped to supermarkets and pharmacies. Although there were plenty of the new copium, it had a short high, leading to users buying more and more in order to continue coping.
