Fanfiction

Fanfiction (pronounced f-an-fick-shin) can be described as a genre of literary fiction based on another original story. Fanfic authors borrow said original worlds and characters to explore the universes they love or to explore issues that were not explored in the original, usually regarding identity, gender, sexuality, or mental health.

In Sharty terms. fanfiction is unofficial extended Soysphere lore that isn't The soysylum (canon). It is typically centered around the electronical equivalent of playing with dolls in the form of the Soytoss. (Figure 1.)
