The court was an iceberg, and our lives are now drowning in the wreckage. As a community, we stood together. As a community, we screamed for justice. In unity, we spoke our truths. But even as one voice... I can't help but to wonder... Were we even heard at all? They pushed us down. They tried to erase us. They tried to silence us. And maybe... Maybe I'm just too tired to keep on fighting. I tried to hold them here, to remind them that they mattered. I tried to be there, to give them hope, despite everything. I told them that the world could change. But they were crushed by a country that forced them to disappear. ...You did everything you could. I hope you know that. But it's not enough against them... It'll never be enough. Against the lies, the laws, the hate. It's a pretty view... Long way down... They want to bury us. They want to erase us. They want to write us out of history, as if we were never here. But the truth is, we are here. We have always been here. We carry every name, and every life, and every voice that was taken from us too soon. They want to drown us, but we will rise with every tide.
