Femquote (UID 293) is a namefag who served as the 9th and final (((president))) of /dem/ from August 9, 2025, to August 10, 2025. Xe served the shortest tenure in /dem/'s presidential history, and is the only the president that didn't appoint a VP
History[edit | edit source]
Femquote campaigned for allowing ponies, zellig, furries and FPE in /dem/, but opposing faggotry, banning bbc poster and coinslot. He won third place in the first vote and advanced to the runoff,[1] where xhe would get 105 votes, 5 less than Cobsontalks who got 110,[2] however, since he won two terms, he needed at least 50% of the votes to be president, which didn't happen, thus getting Femquote to be the winner instead.[3]
Limeade interference[edit | edit source]
Main article: Second Great Soysurgency
Controversy arrived due to Limeade having disqualified Cobsontalks at the last minute, as the 50% rule hadn't been announced before. Limeade later admitted that he had botted the poll to give an advantage to femquote, alleging he did it because Cobsontalks had botted the poll himself.[4]

Presidency[edit | edit source]
Shortly after his victory was announced, a soyteen announced a military coup against him, which failed. However, as a result of this, and also due to the poll having been rigged, Limeade had already made an impeachment poll (also accidentally revealing he's French.)
Moderation[edit | edit source]
Altough Femquote did not appoint a VP , his most trusted janny seems to be a namefag known as CatChad. Originally, he said that criticism was allowed but spam wasn't; later, however, he revealed he would ban anyone critical of the Femquote administration.
Impeachment[edit | edit source]
Even though most soyteens voted to impeach, the impeachment failed as it lacked the required 2/3rds supermajority. Femquote also stickied a Limeade-approved poll asking for the deletion of the board, which also lacked the required 2/3rds supermajority, but when the president began leaking janny logins and the deletion poll was deleted, Limeade decided to finally put an end to /dem/.[5]
