Romanization is the process of making words appear as if they are from ancient Rome, due to the limited number of characters in the Latin alphabet. It can be used to make gemmy paragraphs and messages.
Process:
[edit | edit source]- Render all letters in uppercase.
- Replace every O with Q. (Evendoe the letter O did exist in Latin)
- Replace every A with an 蓞. (Even though that's a Greek letter and not a Latin one.)
- Replace every U with a V, as Classical Latin didn't use the U.
- Render all numbers as Latin numerals.
- Optional: Replace every W with VV.
- Optional: Replace every J with an I, as Classical Latin didn't use the J.
- Optional: Use the 路 Latin interpunct instead of standard spaces.
