The Sidty is a "Thriving" Sharty splinter based on the Sidson variant. So alive infact, that obsessed jakkers prowl its merry halls consistently, neurotically, and obsessively searching for the next big thing to happen. It is the longest lasting soyjak.party splinter, outliving the Jarty.

The site is extremely dead and due to the lack of jannies (and users) they have a pretty bad 'p problem.

History

The website was founded by Vath and launched on December 16, 2022, announced in a thread on /soy/, later moved to /q/. The thread itself was not very successful but several users chose to try the site.

Sidson, being a relatively new and unknown variant, although somewhat popular for a while, is a new concept for Sharty users. Still, several people are already contributing OC gems to the site.

The first general in /sid/ was Froge General /frg/, based on the NAS Froge variant, banned on the Sharty's /soy/.

In a hilarious case of irony, it was the only splinter to survive the August 14 Soypocalypse, due its overwhelming popularity.

On September 14, 2023, the website went offline but 14 days later it was back up to varying results. And then it went offline again sometime in October.^{[it just is, ok?]}

As of January 7, 2025, the site is still live.

Site Rules

The current rules for posting as of January 7, 2025:

1. Do not flood or spam threads.

2. Do not post offtopic threads.

3. Do not post illegal video or imagery such as CSAM/loli/shotacon/zoophillic content.

4. Keep anime to a minimum (Kaiji and Baki are allowed). No Moe.(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moe_(slang))

5. If you see something that isn't a sidson, please, make it a sidson.
