IT'S JUST GETTING STARTED

snappy.party, also known as the Snappy, is an imageboard website and a splinter of the Sharty that was created on October 2, 2026, by an individual currently known as Saap. The site has been shilled across the Sharty's /soy/ board and various splinter sites, such as the Swinny, Posty, and the Inty. The site appears to welcome former Sharty users, serving as an alternative for banned users, former Quote-era jannies, and users migrating from Soyposter.party following its shutdown.

In the short time since its launch, the site has amassed a small following, accumulating over 2,500 posts in less than one week. It reportedly reached a posting rate of over 700+ PPH within its first two days before declining to an average of approximately ~100–200 PPH. After a while, this stabilized at an average of 20–25 PPH. The site is relatively lenient with bans, and observations so far suggest that contacting Saap and other jannies is relatively easy.

Notable happenings

[edit | edit source]
The competition in question.

On October 4th, a user posted the design and name for Snappy's Nate equivalent, Mike Kurderer. This character would go on to become Snappy's official mascot, being used to represent the site's userbase and appearing in its logo.

On October 8th, the owner of this splinter posted on the Posty, claiming that a ((('cord))) was DDoSing the site and posting embedded 'P in an attempt to get it taken down. These claims have yet to be Snope'd.[1] The thread also showcased Snappy's MPA system and its Janny board. Not long afterward, Posty's manager posted on Snappy's /soy/ board, sperging about how the incessant 'P spam was taking time away from advertising on the Sharty.[2] Only a day or two later, the Posty was shut down following a leak of its source code, leading to its manager becoming a staff member on the Snappy[3] and many of the Posty's users flocked to it due to the Snappy being Soyposter's closest competitor.

On October 14th, an official Minecraft server was created for the site[4], with /craft/ being established two days later. The server was relatively comfy, serving primarily as a place for Snappy's userbase to play Minecraft together and build things. Various parts of the map featured hohols, along with a large sign displaying the site's domain and numerous other signs containing mostly Soysphere-related jokes and other SNCA.

Snappy's IRC Favicon

Shortly afterward, on October 16, the site launched its IRC. This was relatively notable for such a young splinter, as it had expanded to include both a Minecraft server and an IRC within a few days of each other, only shortly after its initial launch.

Namefags

[edit | edit source]
  • Sempiel (literal who that LARPs as a person in a full black jumpsuit with a white mask.

Staff

[edit | edit source]
  • Chud ## Admin (Saap)
  • Chud ## Mod (manages the Minecraft server, @ops on the IRC)

The rest of the staff (Mediators and Jannies) don't seem to namefag.

Features

[edit | edit source]

The Snappy uses its own proprietary, in-house software, known as nunusoi, which bears a striking resemblance to the now-abandoned nusoi software developed by Quote. Likely due to a combination of nusoi never being released and Vichan's development being discontinued (long overdue), Saap began posting teasers of nunusoi as early as August 2026. In these threads, many users speculated that OP was Quote or Mist, likely due to the recent Great Handover and the ongoing development of the Mistsphere. Saap responded with "no." LIAR.[5]

Nunusoi offers every feature available in Vichan, the features supposedly planned for nusoi, and more. The software includes a media pending approval system with steganography tools, the ability for users to self-moderate and block VPN IP addresses from threads, a thread watcher, search functionality, improved post forms, and more. Like Quote's nusoi, nunusoi is written in Go and is suspected of being vibe coded, though this has not been confirmed.

A user presumed to be Saap posted early development screenshots of nunusoi on Snappy's /soy/ board. The stylization looked like Futaba (which already looks like fucking shit), but somehow managed to look even worse, with the site's mascot depicted as a retarded Nate. It appears that the name "Snappy.party" was planned from the early stages of development. The name "Snappy" likely originates from Quote's description of the nusoi software as "less snarky, more snappy." This quote was also featured in the about section of the site's homepage.[6]

In an early thread in which Saap posted the proposed rules for Snappy, it appeared that a /mike/ board was planned, similar to the Sharty's /nate/ board. The proposed board would allow porn, furshit, and gore.[7]

Quote Wearing a Saap Costume

Saap is Quote

[edit | edit source]

THE OWNER OF THE SNAPPY IS QUOTE OPEN YOUR FUCKING EYES. NUNUSOI ARE WE FUCKING. ARE YOU. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME HE COULDN'T HAVE MADE IT MORE OBVIOUS THAT SON OF A BITCH HE'S QUOTE HE'S TOTALLY FUCKING QUOTE HE JUST FOUND A WAY TO REUSE HIS SOFTWARE AND. AND IT'S FULL OF POONERS LIKE. LIKE QUOTE WOULD HAVE WANTED IT'S QUOOOTE IT'S FUKCING QUOOOOOOTE IT'S THE QUOTIAN SPLINTEEEEERRRRRR

What is particularly strange about this theory is Saap is an alias created specifically for the Snappy, which wouldn’t be a problem if Saap wasn’t so similar to Quote. When Saap started his “leaks” of the software, he had done it around the same time Salt had said that nusoi wasn’t fit for use with the Sharty. In the leaks it looks like he changed the port to 8080, and renamed the software to nunusoi rather than nusoi. The software is identical to nusoi with only a few stylization differences which could be because of updates. This, combined with the fact that Saap uses trooncase and quickly made a Minecraft server and IRC for his site makes this theory very much plausible. It’s either this, or that Saap is Mist and Quote simply handed Mist the nusoi software when the Mistsphere[nigger what the fuck is a mistsphere that shit isn't real ] was in development.
