dox.soy (stylized as DOX.SOY
) is a sharty themed website used for doxing educational purposes only. The website uses (((Cloudflare)))
DDoS protection and requires JavaScript to work.
The site prominently features a disclaimer stating "Authorized for educational and law-enforcement use only. Violators will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law."[geggy geg]
Features[edit | edit source]
- Breach search: Search through breaches by email, username, name, phone, IP address, password hash, Steam ID, or Discord ID
- Hash "decoder": Returns the plaintext passwords from a given hash. Allows hashes up to a max of 32 characters. It is not a true "decoder" as it actually just checks if any passwords in the database's hashes matches the inputted hash, and cannot decode unknown hashes, unlike tools like HashCat.
- Password finder: Returns a list of all passwords associated with an email or username
- IP address search: Returns a list of all breaches associated with a given IP addresses. This is not an effective method for doxing someone, as a single IP address can often map to an entire neighborhood through Network address translation (NAT) and will expire and be reused by other individuals as the IPv4 address space is exhausted.[If someone pays extra for a static IP it will likely be accurate doey (no one does this)] The tool will also return the following information about the IP address:
- Internet Service Provider (ISP)
- Autonomous System Number (ASN)
- Country the IP is in (Will be wrong if the IP is old)
- Approximate location (Will be wrong if the IP is old)
- Approximate coordinates (Always incorrect and will likely point to a datacenter somewhere)
- People search: Returns a list of possible addresses associated with a given name. Will also return gemmy LinkedIn accounts and work emails sometimes.
