Keyed^🗝️ and Locked^🔒 are proposed replacements for the terms based and cringe respectively, with their users being rather unhappy with leftists (especially trannies) adopting based and cringe. The adoption of these new terms is that if based and cringe aren't considered based anymore, then keyed and locked will still be considered keyed. While previously considered a forced meme by some, keyed and locked are now considered official soyspeak words.

History

Keyed originated on /v/ in late 2020, and was initially spammed on both /v/ and /tv/. Despite overall not being popular with /tv/, which isn't surprising considering the recent attempted leftypol takeover of several boards including /v/, /tv/, /qa/, /lit/, and /his/, its use on /qa/ (RIP) and soyjak.party has persisted, especially with keyed and keypilled chuds.
