Causting is an occurrence where an admin bans groups of people. Quote has committed at least 2 major ‘causts and multiple more of lesser scale.

The Great Purge[edit | edit source]

Main article: Great Purge

Although it doesn’t have “-caust” in its name, the Great Purge was a major event nonetheless. It saw Froot cancel the 50 board plan, and then he banned the inhabitants of /mlp/, /dawla/, and /fur/. This event made Froot very unpopular, and the public opinion on him soured within days.

Cacacaust[edit | edit source]

Main article: Cacacaust

The Cacacaust was the raising of the minimum age to use the Soysphere from 16 to 18. Many soyteens were banned, including several notable namefags on Soyjak Wiki and SoyBooru such as Trevor and Antiswarthy.

On the same day, Quote announced his lack of care for the site and its users.

Brownocaust[edit | edit source]

Main article: Brownocaust

(You) WILL fill this section with relevant information NOW.

The Brownocaust was the mass banning of third-world countries, such as Brapzil, Turkey, Israel, and Mexico from /soy/, /qa/, and the ‘booru. PPH of allowed boards increased as a result, until the other boards were subsequently banned as well.

Admincaust[edit | edit source]

Main article: Admincaust

The Admincaust was a mass-demotion event involving several booru admins being demoted to moderators due to disagreements in rule enforcements. This also resulted in several former admins stepping down from the booru entirely, such as Quote, Cobblestone, and Broot.

Minor 'causts[edit | edit source]

Gradingcaust[edit | edit source]

Mineral ratings for topics were completely wiped out by Cobblestone. The Gradingcaust was a major event in the ‘ki, but not directly done by Quote or inside soyjak.party so it’s counted as minor.

Goonocaust[edit | edit source]

The Goonocaust was a purge against some gooners and porn spammers that began around early September 2025. It began with many pornographic and sexual images of Femquote and Femjanny being hashbanned, then Femquote, Femjanny and MLP porn posters began receiving off-topic bans, with the posters, but especially the bronies, sometimes receiving permanent bans. Around September 9, 2025, both Femquote and Femjanny were wordfiltered to "Kamala Harris" and "Nancy Pelosi" respectively. Gay porn spammers were mostly unaffected by this banwave for a while, until Quote started banning people for faggotry (he doesn't do that doe geg).

Bronycaust[edit | edit source]

Following the demotion and ban of LimeAIDS, Quote enacted several bans on Sharty bronies. One such brony has a raped userpage that’s so laggy it can crash mobile devices. These bans affected both the Soyjak Wiki and SoyBooru. It’s likely that Quote did this either because he was leaking about his hatred for LimeAIDS, or because he wanted to rub it in. Anyone with an MLP image as their SoyBooru profile picture is almost certainly banned by now, most likely by Quote himself.

Foidocaust[edit | edit source]

On July 20, 2025, Quote banned many female SoyBooru namefags. Notably the first banwave to be referred to with the -caust suffix.

Faggocaust[edit | edit source]

(You) WILL fill this section with relevant information NOW.
>Though maybe you were looking for the Homocaust?

A minor 'caust in which Quote, in an attempt to hide his own faggotry, banned everything that supported faggotry, including bait, greentexts, and such.

Doctocaust[edit | edit source]

An event in which "Doctos" was wordfiltered to "OMGSISA" and several Doctos-related templates were removed from the 'ki.
