The Admincaust was a drastic action taken on Soybooru by Mustard on June 27, 2026, where all current admins were couped demoted to moderator, and Mustard was made the sole admin, giving him final say in all decisions.[1] Warrior-Z, Broot[a], cat, among others, were demoted, with cobblestone and Quote demoting themselves to normal users. According to the pinned thread[1], this was done due to disagreements on rule enforcement. Reactions are currently indifferent, most just responding to it jokingly. In the wake of this, Gold attempted to take power via referendum[2], but ultimately failed with 68.4% voting "No"[b].
Warrior-Z and his fans gathered, and responded to the decision via a referendum that asked for him to return his position as Global Admin, with an overwhelming support of 80% votes for "Yes".[3]
