Froot's announcement of the 50 board plan

The 50 Board Plan was a massive update to the sharty enacted by the FDL to expand the offerings to a staggering 50 boards. Number 50 was chosen, as it is symbolizing renewal (Jubilee), which the event sought to do by the intention of the janitorial cabal. Most of these were interest boards, much akin to the 'cuck, with the only difference being that most of them were teen suggested and voted[1], resulting in them being quite nonsensical. After one teen suggested to create boards democratically, votes were taken by Froot on which boards to add and/or keep, and later towards the end of the plan, which ones to remove. Unfortunately, most of these boards were dead as fuck, as they were about total SNCA. The only ones that had any activity were absolute Niggerhell, filled with unironic porn addicts, which was what possibly convinced Froot to JSID and enact the Great Purge, where posters from /fur/, /dawla/, and /mlp/ were banned unfairly for just using them, causing much controversy.

Great Purge[edit | edit source]

The Great Purge, also known as Operation Unthinkable, is one of the largest ban waves in the history of the Sharty. It occurred on September 3, 2023, when Froot decided to indiscriminately and publicly ban anyone who posted on certain 50 board plan boards, which were also locked. The ban orders were as follows:

  • /fur/ - posters were banned until the board was deleted.
  • /dawla/ - posters were banned for a whole day (later changed to permanently), and the board was then deleted.
  • /mlp/ - posters were banned until the board was deleted.

This decision came under heavy criticism from the (unbanned) portion of the soymmunity because:

  1. None of the banned posters broke any established rules, therefore banning them actually goes against the rules for jannies/mods;[3]
  2. A portion of banned users weren't even the intended ban targets, although Froot has said in emails and posts, that anyone who appeals and was ironically using the boards will be unbanned;
  3. Several users' bans were reverted after appealing.

According to newly-leaked documents, during the Great Purge, the world-famous faggot and sole survivor of The Battle of the Ridge, Pinejak, was captured by Frootist forces and excruciatingly waterboarded for hours on end. The UN human rights commission is currently investigating this atrocity.

This event was seen as the beginning of the 4th soyvil war.

Something similar was actually done before on 4chan by Moot. On April 1st 2005, the board "/fur/ Furry" was created. 2 days later, it was deleted, and anyone who posted there was banned for 3 months [4]
