Filterspam is a method of spamming that exploits certain wordfilters (like the Christmas filters) to surpass the max character limit for posts (20000). It is often combined with font effects like, big text, glow text, or spintext in order to be an eyesore, take up more space, or cause lag. It is similar to dotspamming as it seems to be used to derail threads that the user of this method may not like.
