ED is retarded, we all know that. but it is still functionally a museum from the old guard era of the internet, and one that is rapidly going into disrepair. i propose that, since the new owners clearly dont care much for the site anymore, we become the new host of ED, giving it its own namespace like SNCA. Now, this could be done in two ways:

1. we import everything from the site, blanking out illegal shit of course, but run the risk of glowies potentially having a problem, hosting shitty articles nophono cares about, and driving up storage

2. we look for notable articles to import and ditch the rest, but history might be lost

regardless, this namespace would be admin locked so no one would be able to write new ED articles, and there would be a disclaimer template on top of every article warning about its datedness, everything would functionally be cast in amber
