Marge[edit source]

Why does this template require its own dedicated edit button? It's harmless so I'm not gonna leak over it but I'm just curious. Cobblestone (talk) 03:04, 16 November 2025 (UTC)

I was browsing Wikipedia and I saw the templates there had a dedicated edit button. North (talk) 11:18, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
I've changed it slightly, let me know what you think of the V-T-E links. North (talk) 11:33, 16 November 2025 (UTC)

Add Ratio dueling and Customization to this.

Do this an put it in the More section

Critique[edit source]

i dont know if its intentional but the template looks too simple and feels vibe coded. maybe add some gradients and images here and there

Perpetualchange (talk) 03:19, 22 November 2025 (UTC)

Good idea, going for a more glossy look Fenriris 🐺 03:45, 22 November 2025 (UTC)
Done. What do you think? Fenriris 🐺 04:12, 22 November 2025 (UTC)
Feels "vibe coded"? What makes you say that? The bottom borders to give it depth? Man, I learn HTML and CSS for two years straight and "it's just fuggen vibe coded maybe". North (talk) 11:57, 22 November 2025 (UTC)
Kek, yeah. Still tried to improve it as I could though as xe requested, hope you like it Fenriris 🐺 19:57, 22 November 2025 (UTC)

Do you see what i mean?
Perpetualchange (talk) 10:51, 23 November 2025 (UTC)
the template, before and after fenriris edited it, looks completely different to that North (talk) 11:21, 23 November 2025 (UTC)
i know it doesnt have the same "structure" but the fact that it's just boxes and text kinda makes me think like that. im not bashing this template because its evil AI and wasted 271k tons of water nor am i trying to be negative at all, its not bad but it just looks off when compared to the other footers. geniuely no offense intended Perpetualchange (talk) 17:52, 23 November 2025 (UTC)
Yeah, I was trying to keep the same structure when you made that request. I was thinking North probably had an reason for making it look like that. Honestly, I think it looks fine. Still could use an image though that North reverted Fenriris 🐺 20:05, 23 November 2025 (UTC)
The image broke the box on mobiles. North (talk) 20:30, 23 November 2025 (UTC)

hello[edit source]

Forgot the dot between SQL and Bash award

Also, you guys could make it IAS TaklaBabu (talk) 12:34, 24 November 2025 (UTC)

there was a soyjak but it broke on mobile so it got removed. i could make it responsive at some point North (talk)
Even though a lot of the other templates work the same way. Tried doing what you suggested, but it is just too much work with bothering with CSS, and mw does not really like big custom styling like that. You are welcome to try of course Fenriris 🐺 06:48, 25 November 2025 (UTC)

add the lua page to high-level languages[edit source]

title, self-explanatory. page: Lua

done North (talk) 21:25, 28 November 2025 (UTC)

Extremely NAS[edit source]

Like, really really NAS. Do we really need to get this point? --VenuCHAD (talk) 08:50, 18 January 2026 (UTC)

Phones[edit source]

This doesn't work on phones. Actually does this entire morphing objects thing work on phones at all? Cobblestone (talk) 16:49, 27 January 2026 (UTC)

i don't think it does so i'm gonna get rid of this fancy logic Cobblestone (talk) 21:11, 25 February 2026 (UTC)

Nudesign[edit source]

Tried my hand at yet another template redesign since the last one was a bit of an eyesore and the current one isn't much better. Thoughts? 〜 MarketPliers (leak here) 13:31, 4 March 2026 (UTC)

SOYNY
Change the shading for the computer screen, also the computer soyny looks odd, make it more like a computer - Labanis4ayran (talk | contribs) 13:33, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
Tried to make it like picrel 1, I'm assuming you want it to look more like picrel 2? (also it's staying a CRT because of my heckin' oldfag kulchur o algo)MarketPliers (leak here) 13:41, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
picrel 1 is okay though but it doesn't feel like picrel 1, here is the prototype i made for the screen, but the css theme looks kino - Labanis4ayran (talk | contribs) 13:52, 4 March 2026 (UTC)

Something like this? 〜 MarketPliers (leak here) 14:06, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
Can try to change the sides of the corner (the curved one at top and bottom like in the first picrel) but Yeah something like that! - Labanis4ayran (talk | contribs) 14:12, 4 March 2026 (UTC)

Not like completely happy with how much dead space the template has now that I restricted the monitor to only take up part of the page (Otherwise it looked too odd) Any ideas what I should add there? 〜 MarketPliers (leak here) 14:33, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
Maybe try to make the template narrow, also the screen on the computer looks odd on chrome (i opened it on fire fox and it seems fine) - Labanis4ayran (talk | contribs) 14:41, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
The footer templates are supposed to take up the entire bottom of the page doe. It does look really weird on Chrome, never noticed since I use firefox for everything. Disabling border-style: ridge; fixes it but I kinda liked that look :/ 〜 MarketPliers (leak here) 14:52, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
It's fine that you like it, at least works for other users, also i think it's better idea to add the shadow inside the black area and tweak outside the shadow of the white box to because the black area looks like it's infront of the white box inside of engraved on it, and if you can, make the 2 sides left and right straighter while the top and bottom rounder - Labanis4ayran (talk | contribs) 14:56, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
Implemented those changes you mentioned around the bezel. Tried adding the matrix background from the current template. I'm happy with how it looks now. 〜 MarketPliers (leak here) 21:04, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
Also is it good idea to make the bezel around the left and right corner straight? while the bottom and top curved because it looks odd - Labanis4ayran (talk | contribs) 08:30, 5 March 2026 (UTC)
Maybe, I think it looks less like a CRT if I do that doe. 〜 MarketPliers (leak here) 12:57, 5 March 2026 (UTC)
I mean the screen should look like this. As if you're flipping the screen - Labanis4ayran (talk | contribs) 17:56, 5 March 2026 (UTC)
You're right this does look better 〜 MarketPliers (leak here) 18:02, 5 March 2026 (UTC)

navboxes[edit source]

i'd prefer if you kept all navboxes 100% width Cobblestone (talk) 16:08, 4 March 2026 (UTC)

mobile[edit source]

current design overflows on mobiles Cobblestone (talk) 17:57, 4 March 2026 (UTC)

CRT[edit source]

Can you make it 100% width on desktops? Except for the bit at the start. Cobblestone (talk) 05:09, 24 March 2026 (UTC)

Nvm I did it. Cobblestone (talk) 05:10, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
Doesn't look as nice in my opinion, I don't see why it should be 100% width. 〜 MarketPliers (leak here) 05:12, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
alright Cobblestone (talk) 05:35, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
