The Vlodson Crisis (aka Operation Total Vlodcuck Death) was a SoyBooru "raid" with the main goal of getting Vlodson banned. The raid in question initially started on January 11, 2026 and ended on the same day.[1] The raid overall was not successful thoughever since all vandalism was reverted.

Background[edit | edit source]

Vlodson is a variant created by a /soy/ user during August 7th 2025. The variant is an edited version of another NAS variant consisting of Nojak's head, Gapejak's nose, Cobson's eyes and the baby Amerimutt's lips. The variant itself lacks IAS features such as an open mouth, stubble or glasses which has led to the debate of whether if it should be considered IAS.

Operation Total Vlodcuck Death[edit | edit source]

A thread with the goal of marking all Vlodson posts on the Soybooru with NAS:Vlodson was made. The thread gained attention and lead to over 600 posts on the Soybooru getting the tag variant:Vlodson replaced with NAS:Vlodson. The event lasted for a few hours, the original goal was to mark all vlodson posts as nas:vlodson but eventually ended up with the goal of removing the variant tags. But jannies eventually caught on.

Aftermath[edit | edit source]

Around 4 people were banned by the Soybooru jannies for tag vandalism for a week. The tags were presumably reverted, however some "subvariants" of Vlodson were also removed and some have gone extinct as a result.[2][3] This would later cause the joons to add a Vlodson nameroll.[4] However, later on 2 people who participated would be promptly unbanned. This raid can be largely considered a fail, or neutral, as the variant was given a nameroll and Vlodson still exists on the booru, so the end goal failed. However, on the other end, the Vlodson poster is still black and despite being the equivalent of a teacher's pet, it only made more people hostile towards him. [5]
