On the 27th of June 2024, a rogue mod would leak logs of the Sharty's moderator discord[1] most notably revealing the extent of Ronald/Nudev's datamining, Root being NuAdmin, and hostile actions by Sharty staff against splinters such as botting and posting MLP porn threads on the jarty. The fallout from the leak would result in a number of 'teens leaving for various splinters, primarily the Shemmy. In the subsequent week, tensions between the Shemmy and Sharty would begin to rise.[2]
The war begins in earnest[edit | edit source]
On the 5th of July, 2024, a user of Angeleno's screamer wiki would be doxed[3]. Due to a coinciding spam wave, Angeleno would blame the Sharty's moderation and retaliate by taking over the booru.soy domain[4][5], redirecting it to Gembooru.The 'ru would later come back online as soybooru.com.
Following Angeleno's takeover, Quote revealed that Angeleno attempted to contact a banned 15 year old user on the booru, Kleki, who he encouraged to contact him "on discord or telegram."[6] Angeleno responded by claiming his and Kleki's interactions were "completely nonsexual".[7][8]
A couple of hours after the war began, Kuz would make a post on the Shemmy larping as Donald Trump while declaring his support for Angeleno.[9][10] An alleged statement from Froot is posted to the shemmy later in the day.[11] Following Froot's message, Angeleno would state that "The situation has been de-escalated".[12] Whether this peace will hold remains to be seen.
The Shemmy Wiki Raid[edit | edit source]
In response to a previous raid on our wiki, or more immediately to the takeover of booru.soy, shartyteens conducted a raid on the Shemmy's wiki. The raid turned out to be overwhelmingly successful, to the point that the Shemmy wiki was taken offline.
18th July Brapnuke[edit | edit source]
Some soyteen managed to fill the Shemmy's wiki with brap spam causing damage to most of the pages. His changes were reverted causing him to lead guerilla warfare on Shemmy's /soy/ while evading bans.
