Salt, also called Chud ## Admin, Administrat0r or NuAdmin is the current and 6th owner of soyjak.party. On August 9th, 2026, the site was presumably given to him by Quote in the Second Great Handover. This resulted in an outage spanning somewhere between 10-20 hours^{[it just is, ok?snopes?it just is, ok?how???whatbut... why?]} due to server transfer complications.

We don't know much about him, but he has already made VERY big changes. All Quote-era bans were forgiven, and many of Quote's jannies were purged from the roster. He also announced he was restructuring the rules, notably removing Rule 7. His introduction was marked by an extremely high PPH spike, with a PPH of over 2,300+ at 4:59 AM (UTC) on August 9, 2026. He was received quite well by 'teens on Soybooru and the Sharty itself for like 30 minutes, mostly due to Quote setting the bar to niggerhell. He has been likened to the prophetic Admin Ϫ due to his positive changes, but him being the sixth admin of the site has led to many concerns. ~~Many also believe Salt is actually just Quote LARPing.~~ Nobaldi believes this anymore except the Swinny.

Unlike any of his predecessors, Salt hates namefagging, and only ever goes by the generic admin capcode or some other form of the word "administrator." The 'Salt' name and persona were ascribed to him by 'teens shortly after the beginning of his tenure, and he has thus far not cared enough to either adopt or reject them.

History

First day

On his first day, he banned namefagging on /soy/, Averi and smuglet posters, VPNs (doe this was accidental and quickly reverted), and temporarily deleted namerolls but reverted it as soyteens noticed and called him out. He also cattywiped /j/ because there was "too much porn" from Quote's janny cabal. He also deleted the dreaded DOCTOS wordfilter and other word filters to everyone's praise, reverted ALL Quote-era bans and deleted /craft/, much to the chagrin of Mist.

Rule changes

One of his first actions would be re-writing the rules, allowing gore, 'cado and Roblox discussion, resulting in immediate gore spam and Roblox threads. He also cracked down on porn. He caused Mist's clitty to leak resulting in his ban and causing the PPH to near 3000. As of now, the gore spam has probably calmed down a little.
