The Churro is an anonymous English-speaking imageboard website launched by an impoverished russian with dial up internet Andrew Whiteingale (online alias: Woot, capcode Chud ## woot.) in June 29, 2024.

The site is best known for being a site where actual CSAM stayed up for two weeks and was on the front page of the site. In another separate incident, CSAM was actually posted to the site by an admin with his capcode on. This admin had been blogposting about how a girl he'd been e-dating broke up with him, and he proceeded to leak her nudes and a bunch of their DMs. When people started asking about her age since she looked young and mentioned school multiple times in their DMs, he ignored all questions and banned anyone calling him a pedo.

Origins

The churro would originally start by gaining members on Sharty/pol/, because woot announced it on there. it would continually get shilled on the Sharty and become semi-relevant.

Culture

The Churro has culture similar to that of the original /pol/cord which included memes like gigaquoting and trannylarp but the site wasn't really just politics.

Kernung (as blackskinaryan), adfe, imperator, (insert name here) and bbcroat used to be jannies on The Churro and imperator specifically was known to be more of a rulecuck and this prompted hate for France specifically but people often shat on Serbia as well.

Woot is known to be very incompetent as he couldn't enable memeflags without some other thing breaking and he couldn't enable captchas either.

Mascot

The mascot's name is "mykola", which is most likely based off some anti-Ukrainian cartoon. It is unknown why they would use pepe for the template.

Churro reopening

The site would reopened somewhere in Spring. It became double DNB and only 10% of its former userbase came back. Most of former churro users keep using the Shemmy moved to the Chinny revival after the Shemmy died. Churro later changed it's domain after reopening.

Originally planned to be a random board, but later locked for eternity. Had a serious issue with unmoderated CSAM.

Like Sharty/qa/, its just a general chatboard to discuss anything. It is the first board in nuChurro. Also has a serious issue with unmoderated CSAM.

/j/ - Janny & Moderation

A board that was supposed to be for only jannies, but was public for some reason. It was locked during its runtime.

Woot

Woot (real name: Andrew Whiteingale) was the founder, owner and admin of the churro. He was very interactive with his community, hosting AMAs in /qa/ and having conversations with them on /pol/.

Woot has been known to not moderate the website at all due to his IRL problems such as being sick. This lead to constant 'P spam on the Churro and complete chaos on it. One day in autumn 2024 Woot decided he can't handle it and shut down the website for months.
