Yotsuba(よつば) is the official mascot of 4chan.org. Some newfags will pretend she is "sacred" which makes no sense whatsoever. Because of this, posting Yotsoyba 'jaks is a prime way to generate seethe among 4chuds, these jaks are nicknamed Yotsoyba by users of the Party. She originates from a 4-koma manga Yotsuba&! which Moot was a big fan of.

Yotsuba is a five year old girl[1] and comes from a gemmy manga and was eventually chosen as a mascot likely due to the similarity between her hair and 4cuck's 4 leaf clover theming. She represents 4cuck's origin as an >anime website and whatnot. She has since appeared on ban images, 404 pages, banners and other art from 4chan, cementing her status as synonymous with the imageboard and chan culture in general.[2]

Users of 4cuck have predictably embraced the use of Yotsuba, specially oldfags and newfags larping as oldfags. It's a generally unwritten rule in 4cuck to strongly oppose🗝️ the creation of loli 'p of her, which would be good if it wasn't for the fact these types are perfectly fine🔒 with the creation of lolicon of other characters, which shows these fags are doing this out of pretentiousness instead of actual moral values. They sure don't oppose the creation of loli threads on /b/ nor in the old days of the site, but suddenly they do care enough in order to preserve their sacred chan kulchur just because Yotsuba is the mascot. (evendoe a large amount of 'cuck users oppose lolitroons)
Since Yotsuba doesn't have much of a personality of her own, she has been used as a blank slate for various situations, which has caused soyteens to use xher as way to represent average users of 4cuck, similar to how Snoo, the Reddit mascot is used to depict redditors. In fact most of the SoyBooru posts of Yotsuba are used for that purpose instead of depicting her as a character.[3] So in Soysphere terms, she is to be much closer to Nate rather than Soytan in terms of how teens create content of her.
