Soyjak.blog, Also known as the Schlog, the Soyrum, the 'rum, The Soy forum, The 'Blog, or the 4m, is a soyjak-themed blog site made on February 29th, 2024 by Broot. It is officially associated with Soyjak.party.

It is a forum site built off of the XenForo software, which is the same software Kiwi Farms uses. Like most XenForo forums, named accounts are required to post, making the site controversial amongst soyteens as namefagging and inane drama is prevalent.

He made it as an alternative to blogposting on /soy/ or /plier/, as well as the sharty's dedicated Q/A forum.

As of January 21st 2025, There are over 2,000+ Registered-Members.

Regarding the Orthodoxy of the site

Almost as soon as the site launched, some 'teens claimed the schlog to be just another splinter to add on the ever-growing list of heterodox or straight up heretical sites to the One True Site.

However, the site has and will continue to recognize the authority of the Sharty's See, currently occupied by Froot and through apostolic succession handed down by Soot, and of the Soyumvirate under it's commands. The Schlog will remain under the authority of the Sharty's admin, And in communion with the rest of Soydom. Hence, the Shlog is NOT a Splinter, rather a proposition of extension similar to that of the wiki or the booru.

Broot, on the day of the site's creation, emailed Doll about it, and in exchange, Doll accepted to visit the site and make an account. Doll then affirmed that he would personally use it for his q/a and also agreed to help out, on the condition that it continues to run properly and doesn't die out.

However, the inheritor of the chair of St Soot, the aforementioned mango, was not at ease with the site due to it's built-in name-faggotry and avatar-faggotry, which he dislikes. This led, as Doll stepped down from his position, to remove the [blog] button from the top bar. The Shlog was thus excommunicated. However, as cardinal Root later stated later, the blog was still "unofficially supported". The Shlog's relationship to the sharty is thus one of ambiguity, with other official parts of Soydom suck as the 'ki and SPVA both adding the Shlog in the list of their official links.

On June 4th, under NuAdmin's rule, the Shlog was re-added to the top bar, thus ending the excommunication era and marking the beginning of on era of ecumenism and unification.

On July 30th, when the Shlog contracted Down Syndrome, Froot stepped in and asked for reparations from Angeleno.

Organization of the Site

The site, very much like the Sharty itself, is divided into multiple themed boards, where users can create threads and discuss.

There are currently five categories of boards:

• /q/, serves as a board for propositions and problem solving of the site.
• /chive/, the archive board of the site

• /you/, supposed to be the site's parallel to /soy/ albeit without any IAS requirements
• /qa/, an actual Q&A board, where you can ask a stupid question and get a stupid answer.
• /ama/, for notable users to create "Ask me anything" threads
• /jrn/, a board for 'teens to post journals about their endeavors or activities
• /games/, for forum games, such as the "Even though" game.
• /dump/, containment board where threads that have been completely derailed from it's original topic get moved to.

Rules

As of January 21st 2025, the Schlog has 6 rules:

1. You WILL NOT post, link to, or request illegal content.

2. You WILL NOT advocate for, promote, or post pedophilia or pedophilic content. This includes posting "shoyta", "soylita" and other pedophilic variants.

3. You WILL NOT participate in or advertise hostile discord servers, telegram groups, crypto projects, etc.

4. Threads WILL adhere to the general topic of the board; they will be moved or deleted otherwise. Derailing does happen, but DO NOT intentionally derail threads with SNCA off site drama or other disruptive content.

5. The blog is SFW. NSFW images and links are NOT permitted.

6. Making multiple accounts is FORBIDDEN.

By using the schlog you affirm that you are 16 years old or older.

Reactions

Reactions are small little icons which can be attached to any message on The Schlog. They come as a default feature of Xenforo, the service which The Schlog uses to operate. Reactions have been on the site since February 29th, most notably, the default reactions, being True, False, Like, Dislike, Wow and Sad. However, as The Schlog grew, more reactions were added. The first reactions to be added were OMGSISA, Awesome, GEM, AAAAAAAAAA!, Meds, TSMT, Tranny, Angry, GEG, NUTS, It Hurts, Smug, Coal and Selfish Little Fuck. Reactions were cared about slightly before The Reaction Economy Event, often users would prioritize farming them as some sort of pass time, people like princessparkles made it their goal to receive the lowest reaction score and some even made it their goal to receive the highest reaction score, however that would change in the Reaction Economy Event.

The Reaction Economy Event

On June 13th 2024, a newly appointed admin of The Schlog, Froot, was given access to the Xenforo console and planned to do a little Kevin Macleod Sneaky Snitch tomfoolery. He plotted in a Discord Server known as Frootcord what to do, and decided on arbitrarily increasing the values of all reactions and even added some more. The reactions he added were Truth Nuke, Giga, Jartycuck, and Soyak. During this event, a thread titled "/reg/ Reaction Economy General" was created by the users to speculate on which reactions received and deducted the most points. Members of the Schlog quickly figured out that the "Sad" reaction was giving out up to 80 million or more points and quickly used it to bump people's reaction scores up to the then limit, 2,147,483,647, which was indeed the 32 bit integer limit. Some users even managed to surpass the limit and roll all the way back down to -2,147,483,647.

However, the economy event did not last for very long. On June 23rd 2024, all Reaction Scores on the site were reset to zero, effectively removing the reaction score system. Reacts are still used on the schlog today, however, the points system goes completely unused. Users of the schlog in general positively received this change as it allowed users to use any reacts they would like to use and post without caring about a stupid number. However due to it's removal, it has created a problem that acts more like an oldfag medal than anything else. There exists another feature on the site called "Points and Trophies" which you can get from doing certain tasks, you used to be able to get trophies from receiving reaction score, however due to it's removal, all new users of the Schlog will never be able to receive those trophies, meaning that the people on the schlog who have 113 points are certified oldfags. It is possible for everyone to receive all trophies and all 113 points as long as they were present for the reaction economy event and have a high enough post / message count.

Members of the schlog have since run out of imaginary numbers to compete for. A user by the name of "SoytanEnthusiast" used to hold the highest message count before deleting their own account due to unknown reasons, since then and as of Tuesday, 23rd of July 2024, the user known as "Soygoy" has maintained first place in the highest post count, closely followed by "Xiuhcoyotl"

The Return of Reaction Score

On August 8th 2024, Reaction score returned. For a while, some users frowned upon this decision to add it back, however most users got used to it. Today, most users do not care about their reaction score. Users such as Jimbo and DonutHole have some of the lowest reaction scores on the site and it does not seem to deter them from posting. As of January 21st 2025, there are 54 reactions.

2. There used to be some generic emojis as reactions
3. Jartycuck was briefly changed to "ShemmyPedo" briefly after the jarty went down
4. Reacts used to be displayed in a line instead of grid. This was changed due to being a commonly requested feature
5. The Schlog has a emote submission thread where users could submit their own ideas for reactions
6. There used to be a react called ESLFNFJARTYPEDO (distinct from Jartycuck) whose icon was a slopjak but it was removed.
7. Faggot's icon used to be a pineapple, it's currently the now-banned user Encrusting_Acro's face.
8. The Pickle Rick reaction was replaced by Banana Pepe on January 24th 2025 after Yellow's victory in the Race War.
