Cobblestone is a common block obtained from mining stone without Silk Touch in Minecraft. It has a grey, rocky appearance, and can be used for crafting or as a building block due to it's high blast resistance and how common it is, while being used to craft all of the stone tools. It's usually one of the first blocks to be obtained in a playthrough of the game, as it can be found by digging a few blocks underground. It can be mined with any pickaxe, but cannot be mined with fists. It's also a part of the end result of lavacasting, a popular griefing method that has been practiced on Soycraft many times.

Cobblestone can generate naturally in monster rooms, jungle pyramids, pillager outposts, ocean ruins, strongholds, villages, woodland mansions, trail ruins and in trial chambers surrounding baby zombies spawners alongside Mossy Cobblestone, a variant of Cobblestone with moss on it. It's also generated by flowing lava coming into contact with water.

Relation to the Soysphere[edit | edit source]

Cobblestone has become deeply intertwined with the Soysphere, such as sharing a name with Cobblestone, the 6th admin of the Soyjak Wiki, being featured in both her new and old soysona, the aforementioned lavacast attacks on Soycraft, and being apart of the wordfilter that instantly moves your thread to /q/.
