Discord is a mainstream instant messaging/voice over IP social platform. Communication mostly takes place in invite-only communities called "servers".

Discord is despised amongst soyjak.party users for having high populations of tranny groomers and pedophiles (same thing), coalers, undesirables, as well as datamining glowies and power-hungry jannies. Despite the dissent, the vast majority of soyjak.party users use Discord everyday, either in smaller private servers or in larger public servers ran by YouTubers, both of which are NAS. Despite popular soy beliefs, people who only use Discord identify more with their specific home server rather than Discord as a whole social media platform. This can make the hatred towards Discord confusing for newcomers. Discord has been found by soyentists to be implicated in the purity spiral.

Discord is one of the most widely used social platforms for grooming and subjecting children to EPI, probably thanks to a combination of the "private" nature of servers + the userbase's radioactive concentration of both pedotroons and minors. This, aside from their constant attempts at getting involved with the Soysphere is why Discord is generally despised among soyteens.

Discord has mostly replaced the role that chatrooms and imageboards have filled in the past. A typical Discord server is much like an imageboard, except that live chats are the main feature instead of threads, and that all users must post with a name and an account.

Discord is extremely insecure, and information/privacy/data breaches are commonplace. Discord also has a subscription service which costs users $10 per month. People pay to get "perks" like increased maximum file size, and a more in-depth profile customization which is literally fucking useless and a tranny only feature. 'cords were a major factor in the development of the early Soymmunity, the soyteens' rehoming on /qa/, and an indirect influence in The Party's development^{[for the worse tho]}. These early adopters divided their activities between raiding and contributing to the 'ru, a source of much coal and rarely, a single shining gem. Over time as /qa/ and the Sharty became notorious and chaotic, the influence of 'cords began to negatively affected the community, breaking boundaries between NAS and IAS and bringing horrid little things like anime to the mix. Becoming a source nothing but drama, 'cords saw themselves summarily rejected by the soyteens who retorted with whole threads' worth of troonjaks at the sight of any anime profile pictures, leading to discordians to reply in turn with chudjak spam in a micro civil war waged entirely within /qa/. The permanent gay theater culminated in Soot placing a total ban on advertising and discussing 'cords by 2022.

The Slow Burners

The oldest known soyjak 'cord was a /tv/ raid 'cord created on August 2019 by a man known as Chad; Father of soydueling and turboschizo. It never had more than 3 active members, in fact it was little more than Chad's Interpretive shitpost blog, yet his act of shitting of a single director every single day on several threads for over 5 months straight made them a household name within /tv/, inspired dozens of future 'jakkers and is widely considered the peak of soyboy posting. This A-team of terminal retards was by far the most influential group in the Soysphere second only to the swede, responsible for the glut of Soyical Arts and the shaping of the visual image of soyjaks before the development of Cobson. Among it's claims to fame lay transforming soyquotes into competitive soyduels, immortalizing them with a Manifesto, popularizing dark, eerie, atmospheric, character development, suspense build-up, a bone-chilling slow burn cinema, introducing raiding to the Soysphere and promoting 'jaks by spreading folders with several hundred collected variants before the 'ru was made. Chad was, according to his own account of the events, not the first soyboy poster to appreciate A24, a title that goes to one of the earliest 'jakkers known on /tv/, famous for his soi horror infographics^{[chad does NOT have multiple personalities, you will NOT ask further questions]}, but Chad claims to have the most posts compared to everyone else; maintaining also that most 'jakkers who followed in his footsteps were not part of the 'cord and imitated him organically. The 'cord's schizophrenic tendrils were a constant presence on /int/, /qa/ and /tv/ and his alumni are reputed to have spread the soyboy wojak to many more, being the cause of many pre-Sharty raids. It's unknown if the Slow Burners developed the original soyboy and gigachad posts of spring & summer 2019 on /int/, which would make his posse responsible for all early soy culture not made by the swede^[meds], or if they merely adopted them from an older set of local 'jakkers. Chad & gang's antic caused a series of rangebans to swipe /tv/ on summer 2020, arguably kickstarting the migration process to /qa/. The server was deleted in May 15th 2020 as, according to Chad, he was trying to quit soyposting entirely.

A rambling schizo's echo chamber is as good as 'cords get for literally all the history of 'jakkin'. It only gets worse from here. You have been warned.

Soyjak Cafe

The most influential Sharty circlejerk and the end for anything resembling goodwill towards 'cords. Created on October 18 2021, early on members put on airs representing a secret cabal and were a major player in introducing new variants, but their attempts at micromanaging Party culture were not well received by organic 'teens. By the turn of 2022, it was widely despised, being the cause of edit wars in the 'ki - As the Soot era ends, it had already devolved into a 'p spamming, edgelarping coal factory of unimaginable proportions. The later renamed QAfe closes in October 2022 after having it's entire posting history leaked. Their one deed worthy of appreciation is identifying Kuz as dangerous early on.

Soy 'cords that never did anything of note besides being there before or during the first year of the Party, most notable being:

NAS 'cord Late Adopters

As the Sharty spread the Gospel of Soy across the chan, the local 'cord fauna realized the potential soyboys had to rival the power of sneed and even leebait in rattling the clitties of autistic children. In the months leading to the Great Soyset, many a 'cord integrated the Soy Arts for use in their retarded secret club fights. While this is dusty coal of no interest to 'teens, widespread adoption of 'jakking kickstarts a feedback loop as onlookers search for the source of these tantalizing gems, discovering /qa/, the Party, and ultimately joining the ranks of organic 'jakkers, leading to more widespread soyposting, leading to more raid 'cords adopting 'jaks, leading to more curious onlookers and so the cycle repeats. The impact of this phenomenon on the growth of /qa/ should not be ignored by Scholars of Soy as it is likely to be a decisive factor.

Discord has been forcing dusty brimstone since the late 2020s for the Sharty as the cause of many retard duels in the 'ki and 'ru, but it became an actual threat on January 2022 when CSAM, Goth, and Dancing swede.mp4 all arrived on the defenseless party due to Soot being busy with university. 'cords as an ecosystem were collapsing into levels of brimstone previously thought impossible with the popularization of larpercore subcultures, these servers of underage sadists set their eyes on the Sharty as potential recruiting grounds, the weight of their spam and the normalization of CSAM-baiting server hosts put the Sharty at serious risk of death. Multiple 'cords were running psyops to control the narrative, astroturf the Sharty into being their personal army against other 'cords , and one actually succeeded in controlling the Sharty itself. By 2023, Foodist-leaning 'cords managed to infiltrate every layer of Soy society as far as the admins themselves, causing soyteen and janny alike become paranoid^{[ev&oe they are justified]}, starting a purity spiral, countless civil wars and ultimately leading to the development of integrity.wasm. Despite referring to his dissenters as "discord trannies", Kuz himself had a discord account.

9ch Central Group & KolymaNET

The server where kuz started his LARP, second or third of a series of 9ch-named servers. The original 9ch was created around 2018 as a NAS 'cord from a collection of Nikocado spamming kids and turkish little boys who were all-in on his imageboard oldfag act, group that was later rinsed and replaced with pedotroons and fellow "oldfags" from Heyuri, Sageru and /qa/ as the now rechristened Yuri Kuznetsov was learning chan history around 2019. The former he acquired in 2020 by secretly spamming it to hell with 'p while offering the original owner, Lolico, technical and hosting help (sound familiar?) eventually adding him to his harem of underage grooming victims. 9CG, the final 'cord, never had more than 20 active members, a number of them underage. Later that year, Kuz discovers 'jakkin and starts streaming himself indulging the art of soyposting, where he accidentally leaked his address and got his house posted on /qa/, inconspicuously leading to his full doxing years later. In 2021 kuz begins toying with the idea of purchasing the Party, planning a series of schemes that led to the darkest days of Soy history. The combined weight of CSAM spam that may or may have not been encouraged by kuz and the gayops of countless other tramine-addled fucks tired out Soot who sold the site to him. The server was abandoned / deleted around 2022 as kuz's downward spiral into his own LARP had him try to move his entire inner circle to IRC.

Further in the kuz era, his LARP group had a 'cord. The Kolyma Discord server was likely created for the Heyuri acquisition scheme, usually inactive and, while theoretically being used for asking questions to the Kolyma top men, in practice it was mostly a scraper of Kolyma imageboard posts and the #other room frequently had 'arty themed shitposting. It becomes the "official" Discord after the Great Purchase. It was never shutdown, but was practically dead as all it's inner circle was hanging out on private servers.

Foodist Episodes

During the spring and summer of 2023, a server was created by some lurkers and a Sharty janny who groomed a minor into self-harm. The server did these actions in the name of /soy/ and gained close to 300 members. Some of these members (many if not most of them were foodists) who would lurk the Sharty in search of Jackbox Raiding threads in order to spam animal mutilation and footage of xheir groomings ('p) in the servers of streamers in a shitty attempt to "fit in." Once the server leaked, soyteens were not impressed. 'Cordies would talk shit and provoke useless drama in #General and VC. Many 'teens datamined and mass reported xheir server and eventually SHVT IT DOWN, finally bringing an end to this stupid battle. Once xhey realized IT'S OVER, some 'corders acked xhemselves and a couple others resorted to spamming threads with animal gore in last minute dilation before the banhammer fell.

As kuz now owned the Sharty, controlling the stream of 'p and gore became his problem now, and he enacted measures.

Ban order from Kuz

Starting on March 18, 2023, the following announcement was displayed on all boards:

Users who participate in soyjak.party-adjacent discord servers, and who wish to continue using the site, must leave them immediately. A complete crackdown on users who participate in these servers is under consideration and may be executed soon. This extends to the booru as well. Leave them immediately.

Views differ among 'ty experts whether or not the official Kolyma Discord server should be regarded as a soyjak.party-adjacent discord server (obviously YES). On March 22, 2023, this announcement was extended into a site-wide rule (Rule 14) that reads as follows:

You will not participate in or promote discord servers, telegram channels, social media chats or groups, or other off-site, online communities which are harmful or evil in nature.

This was a direct order from Kuz to combat organized groups (such as BBC spammers and trannies) that communicate through Discord and other such platforms in order to spread spam throughout the 'ty. The initial announcement and its extension to becoming a site-wide rule is regarded by most soystorians as being the the gem that saved the Party, although this is disputed -- see Cobson.

On April 17th, this crackdown was brought even further, after some users started redirecting their domains to CP/spam oriented Discord servers. A large message was pinned:

Just a reminder that most of the Sharty-themed discord servers (Which are explicitly banned) are filled to the brim with pedophiles, zoophiles, and trannies. This isnt being used as an insult, its stating a fact. These discords are frequented by notorious CSAM spammers, and this isnt an open secret, they are publicly invited by the owners. Rooms exist in which CP spam attacks are coordinated, and users are encouraged to share child abuse material through "trading" accounts. These are sick people.. Be vigilant and remember what kuz said about them.

This isnt a reflection of the Shartys userbase, its a indication of a healthy host infected with a parasite. These repugnant subhumans do not represent you or us, they are more akin to a malignant tumor, and with proper treatment, can be rooted out. One of the largest trooncord servers related to the Sharty allowed Goth, the infamous cp spammer, to hold a Q&A; and socialize with members for weeks, despite knowing full well what he had done. They will deny this, but even the owner himself has admitted to jacking off to child porn. They are almost without exception in their evilness. We will begin to take these matters into our own hands, and begin action to end this insidious behavior.

DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THE SUBHUMANS, YOU WILL BE CAUGHT IN THE CROSSFIRE AND BE PERMANENTLY, IRREVERSIBLY BANNED.

The Wiki, which had a more lax stance on Discord, also announced a ban which went into effect on April 20th.

Discord users are often regarded as party-killing coal

Although it is officially stated in the soyjak.party rules that advertising, or being part of Sharty-related discord servers will result in a ban, and the Sharty despises the app itself, this hasn't stopped Discord users from continuing to make and shill them.

This has left many soyteens to think that anything new is forced Discord coal, since these Discord groups commonly make themselves seem larger than they actually are.

If you are in a raid thread (most likely a twitch raid) and see videos and screenshots of streamers and xheir 'cord servers being spammed with incredible gassy, scat, gore (isis shit, child/animal abuse), fetish porn, niggers, 'zellig, 'p, and other obvious 'cord material, then the raid has been hijacked by foodist and trihard trannies. Make sure to tell all 'corders to kill xemselves and when making a raid thread announce that no 'cord shit is allowed.

Since September of 2023, a handful of Sharty-related servers had been spreading around, each with over 100 members and usually being shilled on the Sharty. These servers are known to engage in grooming activity and spamming the Sharty and wiki with race-fetish and 'p material. One user described what they saw when joining one of these servers:

He is a big fan of the BBC-son and is the only gif you are allowed to use on the server automatically. Presumably behind BBC and bnwo spam.

This goes without saying that the discord rabbithole goes very deep, and is where the cabal of foodists, trihards, O9A, UTTP, makibucord, GIH, Various Splinters, Torswats, Cvlt, 764, Ethan Ralph Killstream, Sonnenkrieg, Atomwaffen, Patriot farms, Sew3r, Million Pity Tears, and all the other discord freaks who ruin the Sharty and other sites reside in.
