The internet is a virtual space where people from all over the globe interact and share media through their computers. All kinds of people use the internet. Soyboys, Retards, Niggers, Jews, Foids, incels etc. People use the internet for various reasons like communication, posting shit nobody cares about, being a retard, lurking, browsing soft copy articles to help finish that damn shitty assignment your bald teacher gave you and many more.

The foundation(1950s-1960s)[edit | edit source]
It all started initially by the sputnik launch of 1957 by the USSR, this sparked and alerted the US Military Defense, which established and funded the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) in 1958 so xhey would have better communication and keep eye on the Soviets or something. ARPANET launched in 1969 after long vigorous research in universities or le fancy CIA futuristic bone chilling laboratories, it's secure and decentralized, which not only allowed better communication between military, but also allowed universities to share xheir researches to be shared across many research computers. By the way the first message was initially LOGIN but after few attempts, it only sent "LOL"! It's due to the usage of Packet Switching (so xhey would send packet to the correct address quickly instead of shuffling through multiple addresses, which sometimes if one of the channel doesn't work, one of the packet doesn't reach causing a incomplete file).
Bulding the internet(1970s-1980s)[edit | edit source]
Engineers created TCP/IP protocol which are basically a set of rules used to help computer communicate.
The world wide web(1990s)[edit | edit source]
Websites and browsers were introduced.
Social media and commercial expansions(2000s-2010s)[edit | edit source]
Social media platforms like reddit and twitter were introduced. Online shopping was also introduced.
Rules and laws of the internet[edit | edit source]
There are several rules and laws you need to follow and be aware of when using the internet(not refering to the mostly useless "Rules of the internet" 4chan oldfags made up a billion years ago)
Rules[edit | edit source]
- Never share personal infornation with literal whos you don't even know unless you're some kind of narcisstic retard with an ego higher than mount everest or you're super famous and people are obsessed with you for some reason.
- Think before you post. Once you post something it may be permanently archived somehow which can be used against you to show how retarded you are.
- Don't feed the trolls. Unfortunatly nusois and other kinds of idiots fail to do this as they are very addicted to ragebait.
- Don't believe in everthing you see. Verify information first.
- Avoid scammers and fake giveaways.

An internet community that is ironic will eventually become so ironic it becomes difficult to determine if it is sincere,a joke or bait. The /soy/ and /pol/ board experiences this law.

Anyone posting effeminate things on the internet is most likely a faggot or a tranny. There is a low chance of them being a foid

If a janny unreasonably bans something or a user, a form of rebellion or backlash will happen no matter what. If a hated form of posting or user is not banned, admins and moderators will receive hate.
Know and understand your internet platforms.[edit | edit source]
You need to have a good depth of how social media platforms function to personally determine if it's worth your time being on it and interacting with its community. If the entire platform is idiotic or non beneficial to you it's better to use burner accounts on them just to have access to view post and other things.
Most social media platforms have users who want attention or just want to have some form of fun or perhaps advertising some goyslop to get their daily bread.
