Algorithm sluts are terminally online zoomers, soyboys, trannies, and every other person who consumes video essays, short-form content, and commentary slop. Their media consumption is monitored by multi-billion dollar conglomerates who make them consume the least useful forms of entertainment. They believe Discord and Twitter memes are the most hilarious things ever and only know the Sharty as the place where incomprehensible wojacks come from.

Actually, most of the time when they see anything related to the Sharty they would say "4cuck (meds, they would not say "4cuck") users escaped their containment" or something like that, because their knowledge about internet culture comes from the shit they see on their fyp, and that's why they think of 4cuck like it's some edgy dangerous imageboard that doxes everyone they don't like or however the oldfags are worshipped.

Why are they obsessed with online things that are "weird, quirky & obscure"?[edit | edit source]

Why, that is because they grew up in the age of information, with lots of information online readily available at their fingertips. Imagine the life of a medieval peasant, it must've been a rather uneventful one, where children used to spend their time playing "push the log", and the monotony was only occasionally interrupted by some holiday, or by getting invaded by some army, or when someone's farm animal died of disease. Back then, people used to look at an ant hill and be fascinated by the insects. They used to even ascribe supernatural powers to elusive animals that we now deem to be mundane. But now, our brain is fried with constant dopamine, and thanks to the wealth of information available for free, there's nothing new under the sun anymore. This is why algorithm sluts are so desperate to cling on to anything weird, quirky, and/or obscure, because it's new and unusual information, that they will, inevitably, eventually get bored of, like the current, flavour-of-the-month thing. Additionally, they also tend to be poorly socialised misfits, so there's also the pretentious element of larping about how they're awakened to the harsh truth from the unconsciousness and delusions of the masses, like a cyberpunk prоlетаriат anarchist rebel fighting against the heteronormative patriarchal каpiтаlisт бurgеоisiе, and also they love bragging about how galaxy-brain euphorically enlightened they are that they know about some quasi-obscure quirky bit of trivia that "most people don't know about" and deboonks "common misconceptions". In some cases, those "mis"conceptions were actually not wrong after all, but it doesn't matter so long as the algorithm sluts can brag about their obscure knowledge.

Tying it to a socio-economic fashion; this is a subculture that invariably manifested over capitalistic structures. Capitalism, in part, proliferates when the masses are entirely obliged to work, and in part are incapable of retaining solidarity or having the necessary traditional convictions to reject measures to subdue them. The parents of E-kids are submerged in working or in their own part entertainment which acts as a constraint for the parents to instill discipline or regimen onto children. As a result, hyperconsumerism is a predominant facet of the E-kid subculture. Additionally, these spaces are addled with pornography and hotspots for pedophiles.

Niches include; Online spaces and communities on TikTok, Twitter, Discord, or Reddit. In these niches, heteronormativity is scarce, with tenets rooted in LGBTQ+ civil discourse appearing as a characteristic in these spaces. Recently, E-kids have been embracing transgenderism, a process where one identifies and tries to emulate the physical and cultural characteristics of a particular gender that is deviant to the one assigned at birth.
