Soyvil War 5 is an ongoing conflict that began on July 30, 2026 (or arguably two days earlier ᵒʳ ᵉᵛᵉⁿ ˡᵃˢᵗ ʸᵉᵃʳ) due to user outrage at pedophilic jokes being unbanned. Tension in the soysphere has been ramping up in the last two months with various events like Soysurgencies and other shitflinging.

Events

July 30

Around 18:00 UTC, a massive clitty leakage started on /soy/ and the IRC due to the castration of rule 2.^[1] Soyteens called for Fifth Soyvil War. (ev&doe it will probably stop soon and everyone will forget about this)

During the later evening and early night set in the PPH would slowly drop. But with the catty still mainly wiped with a few normalish threads and a brimstone thread made by the baitcord^[2]

Currently, most action taken are:

Spam of copypastas, notably the "Kill Quote" copypasta
Marketpliers dropping a massive NVKE by leaking baitcord leaks^[3]
Increased advertising for various splinters
One teen posting some sick ass Hitler edits^[4]

Later at around 1:00 UTC, jannies would catty wipe /soy/ removing over 10 hours of threads made in protest. With the ban list being extremely long only time will tell how this will effect the soysphere and its nu refugees.
