Saltism is the ideology followed by Salt, the Ϫth owner of soyjak.party and his supporters. Proponents of Saltism believe in the unbanning of gore and newfag repellant, rules against namefagging, and the relaxation of certain rules. Most proponents of saltism are heavily opposed to Quotism and Quote himself, due to his extremely controversial choices and lackluster rule, going as far to revert some of his choices (even doe he did nothing against NAS, bait and low-quality posts 
Saltist Beliefs
- Minimal moderation, such as the removal of wordfilters, gore and offsite activity being tolerated, especially splinters and Roblox raids
- The removal of /craft/, because "Video games are for manchildren"
- Namefagging should be banned
- No tolerance for pedo variants, such as Smuglet
- Trannies/Furfags are the coal that is killing /soy/
- Dequotification, or the removal of Quote-era Jannies and bans
The argument for newfag repellent
The typical "newfag repellent" argument applies here more than you'd think. Before salt implemented the gore unban, hunkies on /soy/ were going through their daily routine of posting porn, but suddenly began moralfagging over the gore unban. This also involved people who weren't even on /soy/ talking about a "massive wall of gore" that was only present on /pol/ . It died down within a day, due to the spammers immediately getting tired of it because they have the attention span of a fly. They believed that this will ultimately let /soy/ thrive, as retarded trannies and hunkies leave due to small waves of often spoilered gore, and gorespammers eventually get tired of repeating the same joke over and over, resulting in the end goal of what diehard tranny haters always wanted, which was a lessened presence of faggots on /soy/.
Just because someone tolerates gore for a few days for the sake of cleansing the Sharty, doesn't mean someone enjoys it, or is even ok with it. It's a choice between two evils; would you rather have a bunch of insufferable hunkies from the 'ru posting gay porn, or tolerate a few waves of retarded Russian "people" posting gore for a few days, in the end cleansing and purging the sharty of a majority of the faggots brimming it up?
