2025 Nuvariant War
The 2025 Nuvariant War was a conflict where many nuvariants got created (even though most existed before the war) and forced on the /soy/ 'log. The most commonly posted variants in this war were Catjak, Vlodson, and Jared.
History
[edit | edit source]The initial nuvariants which started this all were Vlodson and Jared. Vlodson had appeared earlier, weeks before Jared, to almost universal condemnation from 'teens. During the next days, the Vlodson and Jared posters would occasionally force their variants. August 15 marked the infamous Catjak's first appearance on months on the 'log, and in the Morning of August 17th, the Jared spammer and the Vlodson spammer would engage in a pseudo-catty duel, calling the other 'teen's variant coal and their own a gem. Nobody really cared about this or enjoyed the shitflinging ironically, until other 'teens took this as a chance to spam their SNCA nuvariants, marking the official start of the war. Nobody would care and /soy/ would be better off if all these fags were banned for avatarfagging. As the weeks went on, the original spammers seemingly lost their drive to force their nuvariants, leaving an opening for baiters to use them to get tens of reppeys from nusois near the end of the war. Eventually, the spam ended as the same baiters switched to posting soyjak porn and gooner threads, leaving nobody to bait with the nuvariants. It is expected that these variants will reappear time from time, much in the same way Lennonjak did.
Alliances
[edit | edit source]It seems that based on interactions on the /soy/ 'log, the Catjak spammer seems to be very passive towards other spammers like the Vlodson and Jared spammer. The Jared and Vlodson spammers have both shown to like the Catjak spammer due to his "high effort edits." However, the Vlodson spammer and the Jared spammer are mortal enemies, and WILL fight each other when encountering each other. The Jared spammer REALLY HATES longjak, as seen in the 'pasta he typed below.

CatjakWABAG Dox
[edit | edit source]On August 20th, a 'teen (probably one of the other variant spammers) posted that the Catjak spammer created a SoyBooru named "CatjakWABAG" on August 15th, a couple days before the war began, creating incredible amounts of Catjak edits in a very short amount of time. The 'teen posted the thread with the intention of datamining the profile to doxx CatjakWABAG.[3] The claim that the Catjak spammer and CatjakWABAG are the same person are unsubstantiated, but it didn't stop someone from "doxxing" xem.
