Jared is a subvariant of the Feraljak but with a smaller face, ears and no glasses. Most notable for being forced by a random user as part of the 2025 Nuvariant War.

Jared was created by user and Schlog janny Suznetsov. He claimed in a thread that he quickly made the jak just because he was bored and didn't expect it to gain any amount of popularity.[2] Jared was originally named David by the SoyBooru, but the name got changed since there was already another soyjak called David and the name Jared had already stuck in the sharty.[3] Suznetsov himself was previously banned from the wiki for rule 3 after advertising the Swinny, but wasn't banned on the booru at the time of posting Jared, after the variant got enough attention, he was promptly banned there too. Jared was one of the main fighters on the Nuvariant war postitioning himself as the nemesis of Vlodson and forced by some user.
He is Elfdalian.

Around 5 AM MTD, a user on /soy/ would post:
This thread was not archived, but the top of the thread has been saved via a screenshot. One teen claimed that the thread was seemingly spammed with sages and 'zellig characters.
Following Events[edit | edit source]
At 12:10 PM MTD, conservative commentator Charlie Kirk would be shot during an event at the campus of Utah Valley University. 'Teens would take note of this and a thread would be made to discuss the shooting, both on /soy/ and /pol/.[4] In the /soy/ thread, a teen would bring attention to the "Dark Jared" thread, causing mixed reactions among 'teens: many "Doctos" and "OOOOYYYYY"s were had; one 'teen dismissed it as "Low-hanging fruit.", due to its vagueness; some 'teens believed that this was proof that the Dark Jared poster was the shooter.
The Dark Jared claims would circulate outside of the Soysphere, and it would be picked up by 4channers, having meltdowns over the idea that the shooter was a 'teen.
A claim by a 'ki user puts forward the idea that the screenshot of the thread was changed with inspect element, and the original thread was about "creating 'dark mode' soyjaks". There is no evidence to support this claim; however, further investigation is recommended.
