The Global War on Splinters is an ongoing war waged by the Administration of soyjak.party against the numerous splinters that might threaten the existence of the Sharty, no matter whether the threat is real or not.
Background[edit | edit source]
A splinter is an imageboard meant for users of an existing imageboard to migrate to because they don't like the original imageboard for whatever reason. Most of them are of subpar quality compared to the original sites, since many spliters are rushed and made by inexperienced users.
The term itself comes from 'Splinter group' which means a smaller group that has separated from a larger organization, often due to disagreements or internal conflicts.
The War[edit | edit source]
The Global War on Splinters began when the first splinter, Soyjaks.net, was created. It was taken offline after Kuz bought the Sharty. More splinters emerged over time, most notably jakparty.soy and the shoally.
At some point, the basedjak.party domain, which originally redirected to the Sharty, expired and was not renewed. The Shemmy took the opportunity to buy the domain name and have it redirect to their site instead. Thankfully it now redirects to The True and Honest Site®.
During World War Soy, Kuzzyniggers attempted to vandalize the Sharty logo in Zagreb, leading to the Battle of Zagreb. Kuzzyniggers were laughed off of the site.
